so, noxious and writer, you guys don't think that a freak out like this is even remotely possible with LSD, especially on someone's first trip? we don't know the OP, maybe he and his friend has mental issues to begin with (no offense)

i've never really heard of shit like this happening on LSD (i mean legitimate cases), but i wouldn't 100% rule it out.

Sure some folks might get freaked out and act like an asshole, but Pork, have you ever blacked out and experienced amnesia with a few hits of LSD ?
I sure haven't and don't know anybody that has. Actually I can still remember in vivid detail my first trip over 30 years ago.

Think about it.
There has been a lot of NBOME's being passed off as LSD with not too good of results.
So what is more probable, that this guy and his friend are two of the maybe .001% of people who have major bad reactions to LSD, or that some shittard sold them NBOME and told them it was LSD.

Do a lot of bad trips happen with nbome's? and I can remember a lot of what happened and what I saw its just before our sitter left to when I was on the floor is what I don't remember.

 

i haven't heard of anyone blacking out on 25i-nbome either. but it could be out there (more likely than with lsd i'm sure)

Ya they tasted pretty strong and as visuals I saw lots of things from color patterns, faces, things that looked like plant roots coming out of the cut on my hand and lots of other things another thing I forgot to say was my head hurt for like 2 days after that it wasn't like a headache ether it hurt when I would touch it.

 

did you know that LSD is supposed to be tasteless?

my first trip (over 8 years ago, i'm not as old as noxious haha), i remember two of the people i was wither were drinking orange juice for the same non-reason. i didn't bother with that, just didn't make any logical sense.

Bit still, I'm actually quite impressed, even if it's fake, because he actually bothered to do SOMETHING.

Now, as to figuring what he actually took....

DOX overdoses have, according to erowid TR's, been known to make people black out and act violently. But we're talking like 15mg DOM type overdose, not slight overdose. Maybe if they had heavy DOX tabs dosed to be taken individually, his friend had a 4x overdose, and he had a borderline overdose. Cause it sounds like his trip was mostly bad because of set/setting, his friend is the one who had the full on break.

 

I have heard that some LSD does have a taste but I could be wrong and what other effects are you talking about.

 

My first inclination is the same as writer's. Although I'm under the impression that with the right psychological factors before hand someone could have a psychotic break on LSD or any other psychedelic. I've seen it happen with mushrooms at least. I do think that the risk of this happening with nbome is greater, as I've heard about it happening now on the internet plenty of times, and multiple times first hand.

RooR can be a little rash, I mean, I don't see any reason to think this story would be fake. It has all the regular parts of the nbome sold as acid situation. Pretty much cut and dry, and this is something that's happening all over like crazy now.

What I'm really concerned about is OP's apparent wanton disregard for grammar and in particular punctuation. I mean, not breaking up a long post into paragraphs is one thing, but 3 pages of posts in a thread and not a single punctuation mark(correct me if I'm wrong)? It baffles the mind. I don't see how anyone took the time to actually read the whole story.

Sorry to be a dick, I know it's just the internet, but the English language is the English language. Periods are there for a reason. They serve a legitimate purpose.

DOX refers to a family of chemicals, including DOM, DOB, DOC, and DOI. I think that there are more, but that the others are inactive, boring, or dangerous, in humans.

well then you should know that LSD isn't supposed to have a taste!

yeah...you heard wrong bro. it's the fake "LSD" that has a strong taste. real LSD blotters might have a subtle taste, but not very noticeable.

did you also hear that you had to keep these blotters in your mouth in order to trip? 25x(x like a varible)-nbome needs to be absorbed through your mouth, you can't swallow it like you can real acid.

We were listing to music in the beginning of the trip very briefly. I thought it sounded really more enjoyable and it was making me feel pretty good.

It's grapefruit juice... it contains an enzyme inhibitor that can prolong the breakdown of certain substances.

So it doesn't intensify a trip - but it can elongate certain experiences.

I've heard it most frequently mentioned with respect to MDMA & have used it myself... haven't directly noticed the difference, but then haven't monitored and memory is always a little skewed so who knows.

Bodybuilders use it to slow the breakdown of certain steroids.

I haven't heard of it extending an LSD trip, however.

LSD should not have a noticeable taste, certainly not on blotters as the dose isn't high enough.

You could possibly taste the ink on the blotter or the paper, giving it a very slight bitter taste, but that's it really.

When dosing in high amounts, through liquid or crystal directly... it's slightly bitter, but even then not really noticeable.

Nbome is unpleasantly bitter... did it numb your tongue/mouth/lips/cheeks at all?

he only took 2 hits. that's a pretty standard dose of LSD...but for reasons like this you should start with less, yeah.

 

so then if it were 2, it could be 2 hits of 1200ug nbome... 2.4mg nbome would be quite a powerful experience.

2 hits of 50-100ug street blotter isn't all that powerful of a trip, albeit still powerful enough in the wrong scenario
