It's amazing how high you can sometimes get carpet surfing!

It's amazing sometimes how high you can get just carefully inspecting your carpet or rugs with a flashlight in your hand; you then seperate the small bits of psychoactive material from any non-psychoactive material, such as: dirt, tobacco, ash, bits of drywall, bits of dried joint compound or joint compound after taping and sanding of drywall joints, fallen bits of "popcorn" ceiling texture, bits of slag from arc welding, unidentified/unknown material, peices of finger/toe nail, lint, iron filings, dust, and fibers from the carpet/rug itself.\

You can smoke all the psychoactive in conbination, or seperate them and smoke whichever one you want, or combine them in any way you want.:2thumbsup:

I've known a couple of people who worked as house cleaners who would do this kind of thing. Certain households had people who used prescription or other drugs. These cleaners would pick through the carpet and find old pills and keep them for themselves.

I've just rediscovered an old idea I had from my days of shard surfing but have never actually tried it before.

It would involve actually vacuuming the whole floor, then take the contents of the vacuum cleaner and all the stuff it sucked up and do a solvent extraction. Just filter the solvent and evaporate. Multiple solvents could be used on the vaccuum cleaner contents if there were suspected to be many types of psychoactive material present that would have different solubilities.

 

A gadget could probably be made that combs through the carpet and picks out the pills. Somewhat like a thatch tool for the lawn.

Probably. I can not imagine doing that but then again, to each their own?

 

The only time I do that is if I spill a bowl or drop some while packing one. I've found I have much better luck sifting through my drawer and scraping kief from the grooves of my grinder.

it does seem like the only reason to even consider this would be if you have no access to drugs, in which case your carpet wouldn't have any drugs in it anyway.

 

I know!!

I would only scrape some off the carpet if I can see the weed there. I definitely wouldn't go scraping pieces of pills and weed from other people's carpets haha.

 

Carpet surfing? I thought that was another name for rug munching.
