Hi everyone, i'm new to forum, anyways me and new gf starting kissing etc, then she gave me an unprotected bj and afterwards we starting kissing again.. i asked her if she is 100% clean and she said she is... Is there any chance of me getting an sti/std from this?? Any advice be fantastic
oh shit, so what should i do? and what's the possibility that i could get this? also what signs should i be looking out for?
To be honest my opinion is that it is highly unlikely you could have caught anything from this contact, but if you really want to put your mind at rest you should go to a VD clinic and get tested. You might want to ask your girlfriend to get tested as well, although that could be a sensitive issue.Until then you might want to use condoms if you take things further, and then when you are both tested you can hopefully put your minds at rest. This might sound a bit severe but I always get myself tested before embarking on a new sexual relationship. It's good to be a safe surfer.
Genital herpes is not curable. As I already stated, however, I doubt you have anything about which to worry.
You're probably pregnant already....its too late for you. Genital leprosy is also fairly inevitable .... Nice knowing you...
i have noticed a spot on the top of my penis ( but i can get that normally also.. (it appearance has subsided and nearly gone again) its quiet ithy .. .. any suggestion .. i have book a appointment with gp.
Chances of you catching something from a bj are next to zero. But if you have symptoms (or are just paranoid) then get yourself checked out. BTW, I've heard horror stories about them having to stick long Q-tips up your dick to do full STD screening... so good luck with that!
Tell your doctor exactly what happened and what you're worried about. Your doctor will decide, based on that, what needs to be done. Probably after he/she stops laughing at you.
I've had full STD screening and I can assure you it sounds scarier than it is.It really doesn't hurt.I heard horror stories about it when I was a teenager and we used to call it the "Umbrella".But in all truth it really is painless and is nothing to worry about.
i bet there's a few members of this forum that jumped up and made appointments for full STD screens as soon as they read this post.
Oral herpes is caused by herpes simplex virus 1, genital herpes is herpes simplex virus 2. They're 2 different viruses, just from the same family. PLEASE CHILL THE FUCK OUT AND STOP GIVING MEDICAL INFORMATION WHEN YOU ARE MERELY MAKING SPECULATIONS!! The only situation in which you could possibly catch anything from this is if she just gave another bj to some other guy with an infection. In which case you should probably find another gf. God, posts like these make me grateful I never dated in high school.
