Your preferred set/setting when rolling?

So... what setting or environment do you guys prefer to roll in? Raves, outdoors, by yourself, with friends, etc...?? Is it mostly for recreation or do any of use it for more a deeper/healing/spirtitual, etc..experience?

I'm just curious because I recently acquired some mdma and am trying to plan where and who to roll with...

My brother and a few of his friends want to try to roll as well. None of them have tried a psychedelic before (besides pot). They keep telling me that all their friends from college say a rave is definitely the best place to roll. While I think it would be fun to connect with others on Molly and dance all night (not really to electronic music tho....), I don't think it's really my cup of tea. Maybe a music fest or something instead?

The first time I rolled, I was with my best friend and we spent our whole experience staggering back and forth down a scenic rural back-road on a summer night. It was so intense....I could feel life flowinggggg and thriving all around me. Everything felt amazing...all we could say was "OMG, ARE YOU FEELING THIS?!....WOWWW!" As we walked, my friends face kept morphing and I could feel all the energy and life around me. I would occasionally stop and hug certain trees...you could just feel how old and wise they are!
My friend said it was like we stumbled across Pandora's box lol. We discussed so many deep things,...It was one of the greatest psychedelic experiences I had! I feel like I was reborn :sunny:
The only sad thing was, since we were outside, we weren't able to listen to any music However, I can only imagine what it would have felt like!!

But yeah, that's just my experience. I'm thinking about rolling with another good friend of mine in a similar fashion. Maybe switch between going outside-inside... since it's quite cold out. It would also be nice to find a nice women who would want to partake in this experience with me! ha..

For me though, my faves is just to chill with some good friends. Lots and lots and lots of music. House parties can be great if its a good enviroment, but ive rolled at parties and felt like i couldnt wait to just ger back home with a few close friends and chiieeeefff haha.

Never used it for anything besides having really spectactular nights. Though, gained much from walls being broken down in tose circumstances.

Then again, shows are awesome!

 

well the other day i ate a capsule of molly, and was at a burning man event where i was surrounded by wonderful music, beautiful costumed people, some were dancing, some were LED hula hooping, some were spinning miscellaneous fire toys, and overall there was wonderful conversation about many diverse, intelligent topics. there were plants, there were art installations, there were delicious drinks with organic ingredients, there were lights and, did i say, wonderful music?

augh i want all of you to be able to experience some of the beautiful things i am lucky enough to experience.

 

Raves are my preferred setting but I enjoy a variety of settings on MDMA. I enjoy intimate evenings with a few good friends as well.

I use MDMA often for healing, therapeutic experiences and recreation in the form of sensory enhancement. I enjoy dancing on MDMA and I often dance myself into a trance which I find very profound and an amazing release, it functions similar to meditation on psychedelics. What I enjoy about a good rave is that there is not the aura of hostility or facade to try and act cool if you will like there is with bars or more traditional type clubs. I was not heavy into electronic music prior to raving but during my first rave on MDMA, the music made WAY more sense and I am really into electronic music now. A really good rave makes me feel like I'm apart of a very special event, the collective energy of everyone along with the stimuli and music can be truly magical.

I enjoy the intimacy of chilling with a few close friends as well though on MDMA. I feel like I can learn and understand more about them in a more relaxed setting and it's often therapeutic. I enjoy checking out cool scenic spots too, like woodsy areas, the beach, etc.

I have this cap of molly I've been holding onto since burning man, it was a gift and the source highly trusted, but I'm unsure of the quantity. What would you suggest as a good setting for some lasting good to come of it?
I could really stand to let go of some of my cynicism, which will happen sooner or later anyway but still...

 

I already listed my preferred settings which I find good, useful and lasting.

Flipping on 4-aco-dmt with MDMA is perhaps the only other response I can think of that is tailored to your personal circumstance.

 

i don't like crowds, i get uncomfortable with lots of activity in general when i'm sober... i would rather spend my time with a few close friends doing something quiet than at a loud event with lots of noise... that's just me. so naturally, i would rather trip/roll in the same places i'm more at peace just in who i am

i've never tripped with anyone who's wanted to explore the spiritual aspects of it like i've wanted to, so i haven't tripped/rolled in years actually because i'm waiting for another person/group of people who'd like to explore that side of it with me... and there's really no rush. the time will come, or it won't, either way there's plenty else to do in this world

 

I think finding a place that wouldnt be enjoyable would almost be easier.

One time after returning home from a fest i had some mdma that was just burning a hole in my pocket. Ate it a few days after my return and my lady at tge time ended up wanting to go see inception in theatres. At the time i was all systems go everything so i happily went along.....ahhh man. It wasnt terrible. I just had this uncrontrollable urge to get up and stand on my seat and scream, "this is fucking insane!" I didnt, thankfully. But lessoned learned, movie theatre is def not a place i wanna roll.

Moon bounce would be fun. Sometimes just melting down the couch onto tge floor is all ya need. I try to set some obvious guidelines but for the most part just drop and see where it gos from there. Ya definitely gonna have a guuud time.

Preferred setting would be a relatively dark (and extremely clean!) house with various candles and/or sparkle lava lamps going, with plenty of comfortable furnishings along with a bed or massage table to give/receive said massage. Music needs to be on, and depending on what stage of the roll I'm on, the music needs to be either really loud or on the quieter spectrum. One of my favorite roll songs when I was totally tripped was, "Fuck Me Kalabok." (on youtube if you wanna check it out.) Totally weird song.

The beach is completely mind-blowing as well. Love playing in the water and just laying on the sand staring at the sky.

I'm also one of those people that finds it necessary to endlessly walk around the neighborhood while rolling. My cats used to come for walks with me while I was rolling, almost like they were protecting me.

Not sure if I could handle a crowd scene at a proper rave (don't like crowds of people when I'm sober) but I bet the atmosphere would be amazing.

 

I'd love to try that... would be hilarious.

At a show or with some good friends at home for the evening are the only two ways I like to roll. I have tried it alone and it's just no fun with no one to socialize with.

 

Ah yes, to actually answer the question!

Anything with social interaction is brilliant for this... or if you just want to enjoy the vibes and music at a rave.

Places I've rather enjoyed:
- Rave / Nightclub
- Small intimate house party
- Sharing and shagging session with partner(s)
- Partner's work function (small dose worked rather well).

I look forward to going to an orgy on it some time.

Can't think of much more atm... basically anywhere you want to enhance social interaction or enjoy music is wonderful

I am really hoping I come across some mdma again over the summer cause I would love to roll at the beach! I can't even imagine how amazing it would be...standing next to mother ocean in the rip tide..oh boy

But yeah, concerts, music fests, or anywhere with a nice woman would probably be great too ha. I've only had one experience with molly so far; however, I must say that being outdoors is fantastic! I recommend everyone at least once, takes some Molly and "explores" the great outdoors hah.

i love rolling at shows! i dance my ass off and meet and connect with so many new people. im usually quiet introverted when surrounded by strangers, so mdma is perfect for me at those types of events. festivals too.

 

Psytrance campouts - dirt dance floor under the trees, dancing in front of the speakers and on off into the dark, hanging out, talking, dancing, no walls, sunrise music/dancing even more intense.
