Hi All, I'm Mark, grew up in the 70's, so love SuperTramp, the Eagles, BTO, the Who. Modern music, like some, but most is not really skilled musicians. I am a doc, but rather free spirit and free thinking. Alternative meds work and herbal remedies help. Lol, gets me in hot water with my colleagues. But screw'em. I'm not a pill pusher, maybe that's why they don't like me. Have a couple of sons, grown now. I have a fair number of hobbies, and keep fit. Well, hi to all anyways.
Hello there new friend from the north. I am in southern USA, TN. Glad you found your way here, enjoy all there is to offer.
Hi there multicycler :seeya: I'd prefer it if you said SOME alternative meds work. Some are just a load of baloney. But those who simply dismiss them out of hand are certainly turning their backs on something that is worthy of further study and investigation. The modern Western world has a tendency to say that unless we can explain it, it can't be real. I prefer to approach things from the other end of the telescope, and start by asking "Is it real?" and if it is, only THEN go on to ask "HOW can this be explained?". And if I can't find an answer to the second question, I don't use that as an excuse to change my answer to the first question. Rather, I use it as a reality check on my own assumptions of infallibility ...
Look at the sign, we're in the wrong place Move out boys, let's get ready to race 454 coming over the hill The man on patrol is going to give us a bill
Thanks for the nice welcome all. Very cool. Beachball, you are right, SOME alternative medicine work. On the other hand, many allopathic medicine therapies work also. The best way is to know your body, and treat anothers like you would your own. But I'm not here to talk shop or argue philosophy. It's nice to be welcomed so heartily here. Thanks.
