My son has a bamboo pad and I was trying to use it this past week. I thought it would be easier than drawing with a mouse. After all the bamboo pads mouse is shaped like a pen. Since I have carpal tunnel syndrome my arm shakes to much. I wonder if there is a trick to keeping my hand still. Has anyone here used a bamboo pad to draw on their computer? What has your experience been?

Well I don't have carpal tunnel syndrome but my dad dose and he paints a lot. His way to keep his arm still is two things. One if he can he will lay his arm down flat of a table or something so that gravity keeps it down and still. then when he draws he only moves his wrist. He still shakes a little but its not as bad as when its the whole arm. His other thing is he dose long motions going down. Because if he paints in long swipes going down it looks softer. I have drawn on a pad before and there really nice. Plus a lot of pads have programs that come with or you can get them online free that will let you go and edit what you draw.
