Today there are some strong rumors that the Pope's resignation has something to do with a group of gay priests being blackmailed. They say the "Sixth and Seventh Commandments" have been violated. (adultery, stealing). And there is the report commissioned by the Pope to look into corruption which now is complete, but the Pope is not releasing it, saying it will be up to the new Pope to deal with it. And the English Archbishop has resigned due to his homosexual advances on several young men. Hmmm. Doesn't reflect well on a religion that is followed by 1.16 billion people.

 

I'm pretty sure all the metaphors about the new rome, or about this being the fall of something, are pretty retarded.

Oh look, a pope hasn't resigned in 600 years, in a like 1700 year old institution.... That's like saying that a pope dying is the end of the church. Do you have any clue how many popes there have been?
