Both of you can shut the fuck up and quit being trolls. You knew damn well both of those lasts posts weren't necessary. I'll do just fine as a fucking parent if I'm pregnant, thank you. Fuck off and quit posting on my thread. I've asking nicely numerous times so find something else to do.

I can believe that, because there are so many variables involved. I'm sure some people do rise to the challenge.

Online, you rarely get to know somebody well enough to get a strong feeling about their potential. We only know them by what they choose to post. But the OP is making this call easy for me.

Trouble is, you never know in advance who that's going to strike.

All I know for sure is, I'm glad my mom was ready to be a grown-up when I was totally helpless and dependent.

Mods, I respectfully suggest it might be time to close this thread. OP is clearly unhappy about some of the posts and other posters are equally upset about OP's resonses. I'm not buying into who is right or wrong.

Since she is taking the test soon and will know one way or another, perhaps closing this might reduce the possibility of unpleasantness? OP is always able to start another thread or threads if she wishes to discuss the results of the tests, or anything else for that matter.

Just an idea to restore some peace.

if that was true, this thread would be going an entirely different direction than it currently is.

you would fit in nicely as a mod here. "people disagreeing? close it!"

Just a suggestion to help look after someone who seems to be to be a little fragile.

    Shrug. Sorry for caring.

Gotta say I agree with Karen. And I can speak from experience as well. I had my first son when I was 17. He is all grown up now, and I don't regret my decision to keep him at all. However, it is hard when you're young, not just on the parent but also the child. My son was a blessing and his prsence totally changed my life around but his first 8 years were with a mom finishing highschool and then two University degrees so that we could have a comfortable future together. Its much easier to get your shit together first and then have kids.....

I've never heard of any Health Department in any state charging to find out if you are pregnant. Their results are legit...but then, that would answer the question! (and the OP would have to answer questions from the Health Dept.)

Yeah, and dealing with an online thread that isn't going your way can be so much tougher than being the mother of an infant while working and keeping house. How could anyone expect her to endure our lethal comments?

And what about Planned Parenthood? I know they used to offer this service for free.

Planned parenthood here still does offer free tests, counselling and would also provide vouchers for groceries if finances are an issue. Our pharmacys also give out free prenatal vitamins. The local health dept also does pgcy testing free as well. I'm sure there must be resources where ever the OP lives.

If you post it in a public forum be ready for the answers you get good or bad. You can't have have a say so on which people can comment on your post because you don't like the answer they give, Then tell them to fucking leave. Most advice given was from some very smart people who have lived through some of the same shit you talked about and were trying to help you yet you want to be rude to them.
Once again you asked for the help.

I don't see you staying here very long.

You, OP, and mike, together, personify what's wrong with the culture of the "developed" world.
