I am wondering if eating right after swallowing a blotter will affect the potency of the blotter. I had one blotter of unknown strength, and I kept it on my tongue for about 15 minutes. Then, I swallowed it and ate a regular size meal. Would this kill my trip, because I am not really feeling anything yet after an hour and a half. Maybe it was just weak blotter however.
It'll slow metabolism which will make the acid come on slower and perhaps not as intense but it probably shouldn't 'kill' the experience completely.
I ate literally right after I swallowed the blotter, but the only reason I did so was because I had kept it on my tongue for a while. Regardless, I was just seeing if that may have had an effect on things. I think maybe it was just weak acid, because after 2 hours there is not even pupil dilation. Maybe a slight feeling in the head, but nothing definitive.
A full stomach does not affect LSD as much as other psychedelic such as mushrooms. The difference is mushrooms are absorbed through the stomach but by holding a blotter in your mouth it is absorbed that way. But eating right after can still divert blood from your brain and slow on the onset.
If it's good acid, you should still feel it. If it's weak acid, you might not. One tab of weak stuff is not going to affect you much anyway.
Actually my first time doing LSD, I swallowed the tabs, and then ate a lot of really greasy chicken wings. It took a solid 2-3 hours to kick in . . . it was indeed LSD, this was before NBOMEs were a household name . . . when it did finally kick in it was very powerful. Your stomach will eventually get to digesting it and absorbing it, but eating right after you dose will prolong that time unnecessarily.
