Okay, first time poster. Here is the situation (and I know this is weird). My girlfriend wants me to stop using vicodin. So, she took my 45 or so 5/325 pills and my Tramadol (40 or so) and put them in a plastic bag and put coffee grounds in the bag and pound the whole thing with a hammer and threw it in the trash. I was able to get the bag, and wasn't sure if this would work, but I emptied the whole thing in a pot of water and stirred to make sure everything was dissolved. I put in the freezer and filtered to hopefully get the apap out and get the coffee grounds out (I know this is a wierd story). Now I have a half full two litre bottle of vicodin/tramadol water that has a brown tint from the coffee grounds. My question is - is there any reason I can't take some of this? How long will it last? Does it need to kept in the fridge?
I know I am retarded! But any info anyone has would be super helpful. Will this last a few days, does it need to be kept in the fridge???
Wow! Helpful girlfriends are often misguided. First thought i had is divide the jug evenly into 45 ice cubes. Might have to use muffin cups or build something with aluminum foil. Try just a half cube or whole to see what happens. Or divide the amount in the jug by 45 (doses) and dispense that amount of dose. Use a measuring cup. Keep refrigerated. Hope it doesn’t spoil.
Seeing as she ground all 45, or whatever number, or the pills. When you drained/filtered it, there's no way to know what dosage you're getting. One cup could lead to nothing, but another could lead to an OD. Kind of like Poppy tea. There's no real way to gauge how much is in there. I also can't imagine it to taste to good... Now the question comes, do you need it? Or can you get more from somewhere, if it's medical, I'm sure you can explain the..uh.. situation. If not, I'm sure you can find someone else haha. Because it's in water, think of it as Alka-seltzer. Medicine dissolves into the water, and leaves residue at the bottom, but the medicine is in the actual water. Putting it in the fridge won't do a whole lot. But all in all, don't bother taking it/risking and see if you can get something else if you can.
Well, I guess need is relative right. Pills are not my normal thing. I honestly have no idea how people I read on here get so much. I am not a "purchase" on the street guy and have no idea what to tell my doctor. So, when I occasionally get my hands on something I try and enjoy it (I tore my quad and the doctor prescribed me 60 Tramadol, I called him to say they weren't doing anything, and then he gave me 60 vicodin). I can't imagine calling him back. This sucks. Maybe the idea of freezing it and taking small portions would work.
