Nanette Tron Goobalagunk..... My husband likes to go barefoot a lot. He takes out the trash barefoot and He hates houseshoes. I on the other hand like my houseshoes and I hate to go barefoot. MY little boy does not go barefoot because I told him it will make his feet ugly. Hippies supposedly go barefoot .... like tiptoe through the tulips. what is your opinion on the fun. Go barefoot when you can? What makes the world go round? Money! Who cares about going barefoot anyway. Sounds primitive.:2thumbsup:
Why the fuck would anybody wear shoes inside a house? I've only known two people who have ever done this. Where did this idea come from? Unless he's into long-distance hiking or rock climbing, it isn't going to be a problem. Let the kid have a normal childhood.
Karen, you would be amazed. Net wars break out over shoes off or on in the house. As a massage therapist who sees feet day in, day out, shoes make feet ugly. And, what is wrong with primitive? Allowing all the muscles of the foot to engage in walking is far better than changing your natural gait to wear shoes. Let the kid's feet fully develop. Sure, there is a time and place for shoes, but also a time and place for no shoes. Now I want to go to the beach and run barefoot.
I am usually always barefooted in warm weather. After long enough the callouses help.:sunny: How come it says guest ?
I go barefoot as much as I can! If both your husband and your son like going barefoot, why not give it a go for a couple of days and see how you feel!
Well, it is 18 f/-8c in Denver tonight. That calls for clothes. My home would average 55f/13c in winter...and winter could start in late September and last through June. Clothes are better than burning fuel.
We take our shoes off in the house and walk barefoot. I do laundry barefoot, I walk on the beach barefoot when it's not too cold.
I remember when my mom use to tell me to wear my shoes. I have always loved being barefoot even as a kid. My mom would tell me to wear shoes for the same reason, that it would make my feet ugly. She also said it when I would climb trees and gets cuts. Looking back she was kinda right. I mean My legs and arms have lots of scars and marks from when I had climbed a tree or fell. And my feet are rough there not smooth or soft like most girls are. But I like it. If you kids are inside or in your yard with grass let them run around barefoot. Most will grow out of it anyways. Lots of my friends where tomboys growing up and me and my brothers and everyone would play in the mud and run barefoot. I was the only one out of all of them who never grew out of it. Even now I still run around my back yard barefoot just because I like it. Everyone is different but if it doesn't hurt anyone why should you stop them.
i been wearing shoes a lot latley jsut because of how cold its been but in about 2 weeks (if not sooner) were supposed tog et a warm-up and its going to last awhile..ill be back to my going BF everywhere self again.
I love walking barefoot at the beach and climbing the rocks and walking for miles while exploring the tidepools and listening to chill music. The sand feels good on my feet, it's easier to climb rocks barefoot, the sea water feels good too, and it's toughening up my feet.
I go barefoot quit a lot. You really do learn to live with it. I, myself, like it better than shoes. At first it was uncomfortable & strange feeling for me, but then I stopped noticing that I wasn't even wearing shoes. Btw my feet look great! & I don't always go without them. oh & people who want to try it but are too self concious.. You're beautiful. & you shouldn't care what others think! I believe in all of you! I've actually inspired some of my friends to do it! Anyway, I hope you who are stuck find your way. much love ~ peace & rock on!
