uuuuuuuu, what an envy, i skated when i was younger, and now i miss it, i'm thinking about taking a board and begin again, but the doctors are gonna be very busy then

Right on, Right now i mainly ride my longboard..http://www.raynelongboards.com/ got myself a Vice deck..I looove it..lol I cant stay off of the thing, but I kinda have to simmer down on this invincibility meter..i've had quite the near collision with cars..
The shortboarding usually does it's thing mainly in the summer, when i have the time to go out to parks and stuff..I always love seeing girls ride, it's this huge inspiration..like Van Nguyen, Vanessa Torres, Amy Caron..and Alison Matasi, who is 17 FROM VANCOUVER!!..(which is where im from) and amazing. Sorry if im ranting on here man, but I haven't seen a skateboarding post on here in awhile (nor have i had the energy to write one)...One of my favorite skaters has got to be Matt Pailes who rides for Creation and Satori..he has such a sick style..Mark Appleyard..just an all around amazing skater. The North Two video came out here awhile ago, didn't get a chance to see it but Geoff Dermer and Wade Fyfe...lol welll their sure as hell doing something right...

i love skateboarding. i used to be into agressive inline (which i still love) but i lost my skates. so, i started skateboarding. unfortunately, its starting to be winter here and theres isnt anywhere to skate now.

 

Rodney Mullen is the best skater, hands down. He dances on his board, its like magic when he skates. I have seen all of Rodney's videos and I was blown away. Its such a shame that he hardly gets mentioned that much, I mean, have you seen him. Its like watching someone just float on a board, his tricks, his style..everything. You cant top Rodney, well to me at least. I think he's underrated and doesnt get the credit he deserves..

 

Which is why we have snowboarding.

 

Agreed, He is amazing. I remember watching that old Questionable video from 92'..just insane...it's true, it's like he floats..he's also so versatile and creative in what he does.

I gave it a go last summer, but haven't practiced since then...I could say i'm sort of a frustrated skatboarder fan, cos I'd really love to learn how to do it properly but i have nowhere to do it!! there's a skate park close by but it's winter now and the surface is always wet and dangerous...hopefully i'll have the chance to do it again soon (it's so much fun!)
