Living alone - how do you handle it?

living alone get fuck with your head...thankfully I'll have my fiance moving back in with me as soon as we can get her debt paid off and get her car insurance (i told her having a car is a pain in the ass in the city..parking...etc, but she has one, and I don't and it would make certain tasks easier)

 

Enjoy it OP. I'd kill to get some fucking alone time. Between the girlfriend constantly talking and/or prodding me for cock and the cat being (sometimes literally) permanently attached to me, I'm never alone.

 

Are you seriously freaking about spending one night alone? Dude, get a grip.

On a side note, these days I pretend I have to use the bathroom to get some alone time. A night alone sounds like a magical fairytale.

 

I couldn't handle living alone. I don't know what I'd do with myself. I mean I admit that it would be cool to not have anyone in your business so you can be naked or sleeping peacefully whenever you want when you're not working or at school.

But I think I'd get kind of psychotic eventually, like on weekends I'd eventually run out of things to do and just sit there and wonder if anyone would know if I died or something...

 

I wish I could live alone. I'm getting tired of my room mates and their drama. A couple days ago my roommates gf or ex or whatever she is vandalized the house and thru a guitar thru the front window. cops are at the house a lot because of her too. Then we gangster's wanting to shoot up the house because they're owed money.

It's not all bad tho, we've got a huge plot of land and are fixing it up so we start having parties and bbq's in the spring and summer. I'll be moving once I get enough money saved.

Well, I've been so comfortable with my own company for so long that I don't know what to suggest. Perhaps masturbation will help. Yes - masturbation always helps.

You could also get an animal,or go for an walk,start reading books,take up a sport,....try new things.

And stay away from hard drugs.

 

I have the internet, plenty of books to read, DXM and art supplies.

 

if you can't spend one night alone without taking hard drugs, it sounds like you have some dependency issues

maybe talk to a therapist/ go to group therapy

some people are just more comfortable with spending time alone than others though

I like having time alone. I like to think, and I can't really think deeply unless I'm alone. Positive social contact is a good thing too, but being alone spares you from the negative social contact too.

so maybe just spend some time on the internet, watch tv, read a book, call someone on the phone, play some video games I guess

I'm not dependent on any hard drugs.

I've used meth probably about 30-40 times, and about a month ago I decided it's just not my kind of drug (as many of you have stated in various threads ).

Anyway, I don't live alone anymore.
