I saw this elsewhere... R.I.P. Alvin. You were one of the greats. Thanks for the video link Joshua...
Wow. The hereafter band now has Hendrix, Stevie Ray, Gary Moore, Rory Gallagher AND Alvin Lee on lead guitar. And that's just the ones I can think of. Alvin was a master of technique, rather than just playing loud.....
Going home, and he did....happy trails Alvin https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bW5M5xljdCI"]Woodstock - Ten Years After - I'm Going Home(Live) - YouTube
I've always been partial to their A Space in Time album. Some excellent psychedelic-infused blues-rock which I think is quite underrated. And I don't even much care for blues-rock, aside from Cream and a few others. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=uwvjJZM29_M"]Ten Years After - Let The Sky Fall - YouTube
Great band just heard the surprising & sad news on nme ... rolling stone mag site... are late on this ...many sites did not knows the news yet, apparently... Cricklewood Green is surely the album of Ten Years After that i've listened the most... "Watts" and "Space in Time" have precious moments too... Maybe that Lee is jamming upon clouds by now ...with some well-known friends...
