sorry, cant stand applebees either. you would learn how to hate it too if you lived half an hour from the headquarters.
I prefer independent restaurants, whether you are talking something at the McDonalds level all the way up to a Morton's or a Ruthchris. Independent restuarants put more care into their food - I appreciate that and would much rather support the little guy who actually cares. If I want greasy fast food - I go to this place in town called Al's French Fries.
I can't go to those, I am weird I think they're unclean, with all the places around I still hit up taco bell.
your missing out!!!!!!I am not talking about those carts down in tj, these ones are permenant resteraunts, health inspected and everything, but family owned usually mom cooking and young daughter taking orders and money...... or like albertos or robertos....kind food 24/7 , large prtions cheap and good...yummy.........
Wow. I used to work at McDonald's. Put in a bunch of cold potato chunks in a vat of extremely hot vegetable oil for two and a half minutes, throw salt on 'em, and serve 'em. I hated doing the fries. You appreciate those fries you ate. That "tasty" (tasty being subjective - I hate McDonald's fries, Arby's are better) mass of calories and saturated fat came from the misery and malcontent of a sad individual who had nowhere else to work except McDonald's. God, I hated making fries. The chicken and stuff was fine, but... the fries, ugh.
i used to work there too... a long long time ago. i burnt myself on the frie vats quite a few times... not so pleasant.
