Ever since the skin cancer scare people have been scared off from seeking sunshine for the essential vitamin D which is vital to our health and thus people these days are vitamin D deficient even in summer when sunshine is plentiful which is rather ironic. Theres various articles on Vit D deficiency just google them. These days people are hiding from the sun for the fear that they'll get skin cancer and obsessively use sunscreen to the point of no vit D even when out in the sun, it is wise to make use of sunscreen especially in midday summer sun but people need to have unprotected sun exposure often enough for vit D and vit D deficiency can be a serious health issue and the current modern trend is worrying and using sunscreen blocks the skin from producing vit D. So people, what are your thoughts on this. Your feedback will be very helpful .
During the winter months I supplement with 10,000IU's daily. Sunscreen should be avoided, unless you must spend prolonged period in the sun. Otherwise it is best to simply limit your exposure.
i work outside most of the year, and only wear sunscreen the first couple days until i get a base tan. i'm not worried.
i have had three people in my family get diagnosed with Vitamin D Deficiency. both say indoors all the time. makes alotta sense.
My approach for winter would be shorts in winter which I've done and maybe nude times outdoors on sunny days and I only really use sunscreen when I'm gonna be out in the sun for a long time and it seems like too much bother putting on sunscreen most of the time and laborious
there are alotta scares but also alotta people that say, go lay in the sun at the beach like lizards i just go about my life, don't make a point to avoid also don't make a point to over-expose so i don't bother with stuff like lotion, i get sun when i'm out which is fairly often as i go about my business seems to work for me
