    What a wonderful argument......not.

Please. I'm an ex Catholic who has seen sexual and financial abuses perpetrated and condoned by this church. The chances of it changing are zero.

i was'nt expecting you to get it! so as someone who has seen sexual and financial abuses i'd be interested to hear what you did about it? as an eye witness of course and a member of society.

After insulting me by calling me a liar, I'd expect (at least) an apology before you made a request such as this.

Sigh. I should have known better. I've never been anything other than polite to you, and yet you think it's OK to call me a liar, ask me a question (without apologising) about deeply personal matters, and then suggest cowardice on my part when I don't play the sycophant.

You're right, Catholics DO know everything. Just ask one.

ouote where i called you a liar!i did'nt,anywhere! why would i apologise for something i did'nt do. that would be very nonsensical would'nt it? but now that have lied, saying i called you a liar when i did'nt, you are more than welcome to the title now on merit!nice try! grass.btw it was also your perogative to choose to say through freewill, that you you would prefer not to answer it.that would have been a lot more sensible that wrongly accusing someone of calling you a liar.glad to hear your an ex-catholic.

    Right here^^.

I said that if the church changed significantly, I would STFU about it(post#70). McFuddy said "No you wouldn't", (post #73) therefore calling me a liar. Your above "I agree" (post #74) is calling me liar.

    It's pretty simple really.

thats what fuddy said.he did not call you a liar either, he just stated what he believed in his opinion to be true and yes on that :iagree: ,for obvious reasons.

If I say "I will do X" and you say "no you won't", that's an accusation of lying.

Which part of that do you not get?

i got it for exactly what it was.merely a statement of intellectual caution, as in scepticism.thats what you don't get.and no,that dose not qualify, not by a long shot of an "accusation of lying"

I was watching the news earlier this evening and I saw that a new pope was chosen. I may not be Catholic, but he certainly does give many people hope.
