I meant my generation. I think we are close to our founding fathers in that, we live under an over bearing government system. A system some call a "police state," which abuses citizens for protesting (as they did in those days.) Therefore, Americans in my generation who've read and understand the Constitution, respect it as means of protection from our government. However, our government doesn't follow it anymore!
Note thast Chelsey Clinton is now on Jaba's MSM stage. Don't forget that Feinstein is only one member of the new Jesse James gang. Cruz's question to the fascist **** about books was an exquisitely precise and accurate British-style question: book-burning experiments started for sure in at least one location, small-tow Bible Belt Arkansas. The cards were removed from the backs of books toward Jaba's eventual bar-coded State surveillance of the flows of information. The Rollers follow suit (by receiving used military equipment, when one would traditionally think they were there to mostly monitor car traffic) in a mimesis of CIA's rerouting of weapons from Benghazi to Mali. Both cenbtrifugal and centripetal forces are now being applied, just as in the Balkans. The original James gang would indeed, from time to time, hole-up at Eureka Springs, Arkansas. The invention of the portable electric chair also came from that region, whose state bird should actually be a tick falling from a pine tree: published photos of prisoners in a local jail being baptized is just this chickenshit idea that Feinstein has that Jaba's prisoners have taken the bait of Sandy Hook dismemberment fairy tales (without[italics[) accompanying evidence, only hearsay. Feinstein can ligitimately be thouight of as the bizarre offspring of a menage-a-trois twixt Marie Antoinette, Jane Goodall, and Irma Griese.
25 Thing is you have to remember that at the beginning the US was basically an oligarchy of the wealthy, you had to have a certain amount of property to vote. So only about 10% of the population of the time had the vote and there were wealth limits on entry into office so even fewer could achieve high office. The people had to fight to get the vote and it could be argued that the US didn’t become a modern type democracy until 1965. A republic does not have to be democratic. But the fight for the vote means that the US has now an ‘elected government’ so isn’t any failure down to those that elected people into government? It seems to me you are blaming ‘government’ for being ‘bad’ when the true problem is a dysfunctional political system that allows ‘bad’ representatives into power, it would seem then to me that the solution would be to try and fix the political system so elections get ‘good’ representatives into power. .......................................................................................................... Well RJ I was horrified at the attack on MOVE in Philadelphia way back in The 80's many city blocks were burned in the firebomb. We can all remember Waco, Texas, or Ruby Ridge, Idaho.......I don't care how much weaponry you've got....... Its like Sammy, The Bull, Gravano said: " The American Government; They take out entire countries, what chance do I have?"
Your sympathy for MOVE, the Waco wackos, Ruby Ridge bigots, and the criminal Gravano exposes you. Your post looked like an attempt to justify war with the U.S. government. Rots of ruck with that.
Nay...............twas to show the futility of an armed challenge to Government and the consequences arising threoff. No matter how well armed one may be.
A select group of people standing up to the gov't based on wacky personal agendas is a lot different than 1 million + citizens. And some of us still operate on principle, regardless of outcome. But you can feel free to wave your hands in the air.
Sorry for the major delay, Balbus; I left state for a few days.Well, in my opinion, you're talking about the public appearance of Government; I know our system has been corrupted for a long time, but the underlying cause of our problem (The Military-Industrial Complex and, the Prison-Industrial Complex) But if you're insinuating that we have a better government now then we do then, you are clearly mistaken. I mean no offense, although, in 1964 I'm pretty sure they still issued silver dimes. Our currency has devalued so much, that a silver dime, is worth around 9$ today, and that's like 2 1/2-3 gallons of gasoline. In other words, We would be getting 3 gallons of gasoline for a DIME, if we were still on a silver/gold standard! I agree with you to an extent. I think Americans were rebellious while breaking away from the Brittish Government, but have been complete conformist to our American Government. Hang their flags and watch fireworks every 4th Of July while the government silently robs the treasury, passes overbearing laws and, spies on their own people! However, one must remember that, for every action, there's a equal and opposite reaction. They think they will get away with it forever, but it's not true; it has never been throughout history. Governments cannot run without the consent of the governed!
Dude, a silver dime is worth like a buck, maybe... I've got several boxes full of them. If it's worth nine it's a proof or other special dime, the weight of the silver alone is NOT worth that. Yeah, there's silver dimes worth hundreds, or thousands of dollars.... that's a numismatic value, not a silver value. I also have a silver 3-cent piece from like 1850 or something, and I doubt it has more than 15 or 20 cents of silver in it, you can get more silver by unwinding a silver-wound musical instrument string. But it's worth at least a few bucks, because it's a silver three-cent piece, not because it's fifteen cents worth of silver. US money has still been worth less than it's standards, resulting in money-melting scams and such, at some points.
Deviate Thing is the US has an ‘elected government’ so isn’t any failure down to those that elected people into government? It seems to me you are blaming ‘government’ for being ‘bad’ when the true problem is a dysfunctional political system that allows ‘bad’ representatives into power, it would seem then to me that the solution would be to try and fix the political system so elections get ‘good’ representatives into power.
