For several reasons, the place I currently live has become filled with bad vibes. I've been trying to write a book which I feel could change the world...Or at least a few kids will get some laughs if they read it. But in my current situation its impossible to concentrate on writing, so I really need a change in scenery. I'm happy to contribute labor, and although I have just about no experience in just about anything, I'm a quick learner. I don't complain much or have high standards of living, I've been sleeping on a couch and I'd be content with a dirty floor. I'm a vegan, and would enjoy being around like-minded people in that department, but as long as your open-minded to my dietary choice I'll try not to preach about it. I play some instruments (mainly guitar and drums) so if you or anybody living with you needs a passionate and skilled musician to jam with, I'm your man! I'm a very relaxed guy, and everyone I've met so far in life has at least thought I was interesting. I have some unique perspectives and love to give and receive ideas, be they philosophical, artistic, theoretical, or what-have-you. I plan to move out as soon as I graduate high school, which is in 2 months, so I thought I should get started on finding somewhere I would fit in for a while. If anybody can help me out, please let me know!
You should lie a little bit and at least pretend to have experience doing SOMETHING. How do you know you're a quick learner if you've never done anything?
Well I picked up on music extremely quick. In school I'm always the quickest to understand a concept we're being taught. I guess I do have some experience in cooking and agriculture...I worked at my mom's cousin's restaurant for a week, and have helped people with their gardens and such, and my ex-girlfriend's parents once payed me to clean their house and prepare it for the holidays. I just didn't want to come off as someone who doesn't need to be taught how to do what they're about to do...Wouldn't want to end up over-watering someone's plants, for example, because I didn't know how much they needed. But most things are just sort of obvious...I can use tools, I can prepare food, I can clean, and I just really can't imagine screwing anything up as long as I'm taught how to do that thing once, that's just the kind of person I've always been.
