Favourite Lube and Why?

There are so many lubes out there, was just wondering if you have any favs and also if you use a specific lube for specific "play?"

I like Astroglide gel (for vaginal fisting) but to be honest have only tried about 4.

What's your top lube :sunny:

 

AstroGlide is by far my favorite lube for general use. For prolonged anal or shower sex, though, I prefer a silicone-based lube such as Wet or Pjur.

 

I hate astroglide. It takes on a sticky texture quite quickly in my experience, but it's pretty cheap compared to the others. K-Y is much better imo but overpriced.

 

Interesting. I've had problems with KY getting tacky after a bit of use, and drying out more quickly than AG. And KY was believed (and may still be believed) to have chemicals in it that cause potential infection problems with sensitive vaginas. KY (the basic stuff) was designed for medical applications and not as a sexual lube like most of the other products.

 

Silicone based also....astro glide does become sticky.

 

pussy lube ! or saliva.

All the others don't taste good.

 

Astroglide doesn't really have a taste - maybe a very slightly sweet taste (which I'd guess comes from the presence of glycerin).

 

These work well also.

 

I imagine anal always requires lube, correct. And some stretching.

It does when you're first starting out, generally speaking. Once you get really used to be anally penetrated, though, you don't always need lube or "stretching."

 

Anyone used gun oil lube? I fancy trying it but don't know whether to get the silicone or H2o version. I have only used water based lubes. Are silicon lubes are harder to clean up?

 

They are a bit more difficult to clean up, yes. That's why I only use them vaginally when having sex involving water - water won't wash it away like they do with water-based lubes or the vagina's natural fluids.

That difficulty in cleaning it up is what makes it good for prolonged anal, though. If you use water-based for that, you tend to have to reapply it several times if you're going to be doing it for a while, and that gets old. Without getting all TMI on everyone, cleaning it up after anal is not any more difficult than the normal cleanup, really.

 

For once we can agree on something. I've tried a lot of different ones, and Pjur is the best IMO. That's all we use now.

 

Olive oil - works well and is good for your skin...

 

and taste good.

 

We found that Slippery Stuff works the best by far. Cum also works really well and we both enjoy the experience.

 

Coconut oil is better than olive oil. It smells and tastes good, and it's also anti-bacterial and anti-fungal.

 

I prefer olive oil as a lube, but if I plan on using condoms, that usually doesn't work.

Pjur is pretty good though, and yeah I agree that Astroglide gets to sticky/gummy after a while and I don't like it. It also does have this taste I don't like either.
