but finding myself really enjoying indica.
I've always preffered head highs and psychedelic effects, and I generally don't like getting overly sleepy. I've always preferred sativa to indica because I understood indica indicates more body high and mellow 'stoned' feeling as opposed to 'high'.
But I got some great indica and I'm in heaven <3 I wonder if it's that I have a "lower tolorance" for indica?

It probably is because you have a lower tolerance for Indica. Also, cool sig pic :2thumbsup:

Yeah smoking one strain of weed can raise your tolerance, not sure about one type like with indcia vs sativa.

    thanks!

So I wonder; is tolerance based on species or strain??? Does this mean that if I build a tolerance to indica I can switch to sativa and get a major buzz again?

tolerance imo is based only on thc in your system.........i am a heavy smoker and it dont matter what strain or what type of weed........

more thc in my blood means higher tolerance and it doesnt matter the source.

but different strains can have wildly different THC:CBD/CBN ratios. so maybe with indica you get a lot of THC, but switching to sativa provides a lot more CBD and CBN

I've noticed a change in tolerance since switching to indica.

Yeah switching strains is the most ideal way to get the most high with less of a tolerance effect
I've always loved Sativa better too, my favorite strains are the hybrids that are sativa heavy, so you still get the best part of the indica high

I definitely notice what you mean; switching regularly between sativa and indica makes a difference.

It has always been my experience that the first smoke of a new strain gets me higher. Remember each strain of weed is a cocktail of cannibinoids as well as inactive compounds like terpenes, which may also have a potentiating effect. From the point of view of your nervous system, each strain is a slightly different drug.

    Beautiful isn't it?! :2thumbsup:

I can't be the one to supply the science, but there is a lot more to pot than thc! It's true!

Great article in the latest issue of High Times about the science of terpenes...they give weed strains their distinctive taste and may possibly contribute to psychoactivity.
