Hmmm lol, maybe I could work from home after all... Hawt, almost 53 yr old, heterosexual hairdresser with thick, healthy but greying, waist length hair. Will cut your hair for reasonable price (sorry, bj will cost you a whole lot more and hairdresser reserves the right to refuse service based on arbitrary factors). Don't worry, sit back and relax while I trim your locks. I have a bowl to fit everyone's head!
I was thinking the same thing. lol You are soooooooo witty, Aura. How come none of the other Caribbean girls I know are as smart as you?
I've been cutting my own hair for like 10 years. I'm admittedly a cheapskate. Don't worry though, grows back.
I sense some sarcasm haha I think it's because people are different, even when they come from the same general geographical location. I'm sure there's other smart Caribbean girls out there, a rare few might even be smarter than me! And I think with ok grammar, people's wit is often increased in their written communications.
Looking sharp mate :2thumbsup: Not so bad at all. Not that I'm into good haircuts (although this year will definately mark my return to the hairdresser - it's been over 10 years ). By the way I also thought about a 'fade' when I go short. Better explain it well (and in time) I see! :sultan:
i cut one of my own once in a while, when it irritates the back of my ears, or neck, or the weather is to warm and i start shedding. i don't do it for looks, but for comfort. i try to be inconspicuous about the rest of my appearance, but my hair never would grow out long.
an angel isn't a physical life form, it is a word humans invented for things nonphysical about which they know nothing, but love to pretend to, and even make war on other humans who refuse to pretend the same things as themselves. of course i like the idea of non-physical things that are helpful and nice, but nix the nice = supportive of hierarchy nonsense, which seems to be the concept as expressed in abrihamic religions. at any rate, certainly a creative habliment, which is nice, but unfortunately does nothing to disguise the human species.
Hello, my barber hasn't a good command of the local language, so most of the time you get a haircut that he thinks you wanted, not the one you ordered . As a young man I lived near a US garrison and I used to go to the same civilian barber as the military stuff. 'Gimme a white line' was the key word and you got a hair cut that made every officer made proud of you . Well, nowadays I like my hair a little bit longer . Regards Gyro
If All You Guys Let Your Hair Dread Like I Have, We Would Never Have Had To Read This Boring Thread...:hide: Cheers Glen.
i usually get the clipper cut..because i like to get my moneys worth i do my beard myself with 1/4 or 3/8 clippers....then tell the hair lady to buzz me with 1 inch and taper the sides down to blend with my beard it costs maybe $10 and i usually tip an extra $5
I hate them too. Usually I like to let my hair grow out, and then get it cut every second month or two. Every single time I go back there, they don't want to cut it short. They say that they can't do it, and I have to politely ask several times before they do it. Recently I've started going to a barber (although with only female haircutters), and they're better, but still are iffy about cutting my hair. Apparently it's rare to find a guy with curly hair who knows how to take care of it, so they're reluctant to 'mutilate' it. When I went to a fancy salon (yeah yeah, I know... I'm a hipster) the guy there actually refused to cut it short and made me get a fancy cut or leave. I didn't have this problem when I had dreadlocks...
Well, The Simple Solution To Your Problem Is To Let Your Hair Dread Again. I Thought They Really Suited You... Cheers Glen.
