Just been perusing this site & googling info, but it looks like Opiates affect the dopamine release in your brain. Then when you stop the opiates that your dopamine levels are depleted & your brain is not producing because it has been dependent on the opiates to do it.

Since Wellbutrin's main mechanism of action is by releasing dopamine in to the synapse of the brain wouldn't it make sense that it would help with opiate WDs? At least it should help from feeling blue or depressed and should obviously help with mood since it is the feel good chemical in our brain. Should help some with energy too. Of course it wouldn't help with cravings but has anybody tried it for WDs? Makes theoretical sense that it would help.
