I have a cello but I don't know a thing about it, I guess it might be hard to teach someone to play an instrument over the computer but is there anyone that plays one that might be willing to show me how?????

the thick string is tuned to C, then G , D , A. the tricky part is using the bow. you have to keep it the same speed aand then you keep time by how far youve gone on the bow. all the scales should be the same as a violin or mandolin, but they are tuned GDAE.

if a virtual student knows nothing , how does the virtual cello get tuned ? the tuning will evolve from the veritable root of music , and she has a master of the root at her service . lesson 4 : from the root , make tea . make it hot like jazz .

ok, jazz is the music of unemployment. its okay if you find yourself there, but when you do, you know its time to get out quick.

i'd say while going about learning a new instrument, before you develope bad habits, you want to learn the proper way to hold the instrument and the bow. it will feel very uncomfortable fo quite some time, and youll be tempted to do it your own way, which makes more sense to you. its important to get used to the correct way, because it will free you up later on when you have to play difficult things.

that is so not true man, how could you say that about jazz? there may not be spots for jazz musicians out there like there are for symphonic players, but you can't knock the genre because of that. a jazz musician can be as technically skilled as a classical... it's just wrong...

back on the cello topic thing, i love the cello, it's always been one of my favorite instruments. i had a chance to learn it back in high school but never jumped at the opportunity.

if ya already know how to hold it, i can help ya with some theory and teach ya some bluegrass or rocknroll songs. all string instruments are the same to me. i also have a 90 year old nice tenor banjo (tuned same as a cello) if any you celloist are interested.

 virtual cello lessons could be a challenge..i find it hard enough and i've had conventional ones since i was 6. i'd def go for conventional..increases likelihood of success a lot methinks..

    love daisyness xxx

cellos are hard to play if you aren't a string player already. ah i love cellos. they're so beautiful. 'Apocolyptica' are a heavy metal band consisting of completely cellos, some acoustic and some electric. they are AMAZING.

also, cello's are very erotic. *raises eyebrows*
