Hey guys swims pet got his hands on 2 controlled release 32 mg hydromorphine aka dillaloid. He's been snorting and is worried about becoming dependant physically.

Started snorting last Thursday, went on Friday, stopped Saturday and finished it off Sunday.

This time he started Friday night, did some Saturday night and he has some left from the 32mg capsule. I have used codeine, limiting my use to once a week for about 6 weeks but stopped for a while. I also went thru 20 5mg oxycodone post surgery for wisdom teeth 6 months ago. I'm worried about becoming addicted. What kind of withdrawls should I expect from this mini hydromorphine binge? I really want to use the rest of what I have and not touch this stuff ever again. Would it make the withdrawals worse? :(

that small of a one time binge and you are probably good. You may have a minor withdrawal for a couple days. I wouldn't be too worried about it. That goes without saying you may already be mentally addicted however.

I am feeling the grip of addiction slowly sneaking up, which is why I am stopping altogether after this. Realizing that before it gets out of hand woke me up about how dangerous his an be. What kind of withdrawels can I expect? I'm just worried since It never happened to me before. Cheers.

In your limited experience. Don't even think about withdrawal. Focus more on mental addiction. And remember opiates lead to a life of misery.

I agree with the above post. Unless you have a medical condition that warrants the use of these drugs, or if you're the type who only dabbles in them very rarely, you should stay away from them. Addiction is terrible, and not just for you, but your friends and family as well. Once a person goes through serious withdrawal once, they'll never want to go through it again, and will do anything to get the drugs. But from the usage you mentioned in your post, I seriously doubt you'll have any withdrawals. But you may have some mental cravings, which you'll just have to ignore. Just do things to keep your mind off of it.

Learn the correct names of these drugs you're abusing before you go ahead and worry about getting yourself addicted.

A good rule of thumb on this is tolerance. The amount that it takes to get you into your comfort zone. When your tolerance goes up, you're addicted, at least to a small degree. You may not have really noticeable wd's at first, but they're there. Maybe a little "rundown" feeling for a few days and some sneezing that you might think is a mild cold, but it's wd's. So keep a watch on that. If you let it get to the point that it takes 3, 4, 5 times the dosage to get the same effect, you've got trouble. I used to get my prescriptions by mail. But there was a guy who I thought was a friend who would lurk outside my place watching my mailbox. He knew I got my prescriptions by mail, and he knew when the mail arrived, but he didn't know my exact refill date. And there were several times that I'd look out my front window and he'd be out there watching and waiting for the mail to come. And he got me once. A month's supply of Hydrocodone and Xanax. So I arranged to just pick up my scripts in person. And this guy was a friend. That's how bad it can get. And worse.
