So I was just sitting here & a commercial came on tv with all these models with tons of makeup & ribs popping out
It really bugs me that our society thinks in order to be beautiful you have to look like that.
it shouldnt matter if you're 90 pounds or 190 pounds. long hair or short hair. tall or short.

i didn't know that in order to be beautiful you had to wear tons of makeup & be almost dangerously thin.
im sorry but thats not beauty to me.
beauty comes from within you. if you have a great personality & do good things for your community & you're just a good hearted person, well then you better fucking believe you're beautiful.
everyone is beautiful in their own way.

i'm sorry for ranting but i feel like this should be said more often. usually people are so focused on their flaws they forget about anything else. it seriously pisses me off. people sometimes harm themselves over how they look because in this generation, now days unless you look like the people on tv, you're ugly. not true.
learn to love yourselves. a happy person is a beautiful person. remember that.

& Faelixx You just said it all perfectly in two paragraphs. I couldn't agree with you more. I mean yeah I wear makeup sometimes, but that's fine. They make it for us to wear. It's mainly just the fact that people are so dead set on looking like these models & actresses that makeup & all the other crap like hair products become necessities for some people. It's just ridiculous.
