No Carry Out Service Here, You Just Put All The Bags

Back In Your Trolly And Push It Out To Your Car, Then Place It In A Trolly

Return Bay For The Trolly Boys To Take About 20 At A Time Back To

    The Supermarket...:).

When I Shop I Have About 18 Bags, How In The Hell Can A Carry Out Person

    Carry That Number...

    Cheers Glen.

We have no baggers here. I wish we did, because it's so hard to put groceries in your bag and put it in your car.

Useless jobs get more people off of government charity. I used to not like it either like the security guards that check your receipt when you're walking out when someone else packed the trolley and you could not have stolen anything anyway, I used to feel like it was a pointless job but then realized that its giving someone a job and that must be a good step in direction because they are taking away jobs with all the self serve isles at supermarket.

Okay. But. The world keeps populating and all the jobs for teenagers are going to artificial intelligence.

That is a great argument for population control. Only good-looking and intelligent people should be allowed to reproduce.

I doubt ANY of those baggers are on govt charity. Their husband's are old retired vets.

Yeah well I pretty much said they were not on charity. I actually said it probably keeps them off it. Have I misunderstood something here? >.>

Um at the very least their husband's have a retirement check from the military and a social security check coming in, which would probably cap them at any sort of "free" money from the government. No doubt that a good chunk of the women may also have a social security check coming in AND probably more than a few have some sort of pension from after the military. I doubt many of these women are well off, but I doubt they are at risk for being the govt's charity case. Mmmk?

Yeah, jobs that are created without their being any demand are strange, such as those jobs as a phonesalesperson, that is not only pointless, but a total annoying thing to both the sales person and the person who is being phoned.

I avoid those self check-out machines for the exact same reason. Give a PERSON a job instead of outsourcing it to a computer.

OK--differant deal. Years ago,I ran into a friend of mine and asked him what he was doing lately. He replied-" jackin' off turkeys". Seems he was working at a turkey farm extracting sperm from turkeys. Now that seems pretty useless to me.

Probably the looks on their little faces would tell the story. I don't know what "turkey bliss" looks like.

We don't have any forecasters. But there are some in Amarillo who seem to think they know what's up over here. They're often wrong. lol

Weather forecasters are the only people that can be wrong greater than 75 % of the time and still get paid.

I grocery shop very early in the morning so I have the store to myself and can pretty much get in and out quickly. The self check machines are the only thing available at that time. I do feel like they should give a discount for people who use these machines since we are saving them money.

I don't think we have to pay for bags here but i have used cloth bags for years. I prefer to bag my own groceries so I can actually lift the bags.

I don't remember the last time anyone took groceries out to the car except when I was a kid and that was many years ago. I also don't remember tipping baggers or people who took the bags out to the car.

The only place that takes something out to the car for me is the feed store where I get cat and dog food.
