    I don't think anything good has ever come out of the nu-metal genre. What are some others?

    Idk really like Korn.

    Slipknot and Linkin Park had really good first albums too.

    I don't really care for any kind of electronic music unless it's short and contains vocals written in verse form. Long drawn out electronica with ambient vocals kills me.

    I like stuff like the Sons of the Pioneers, Rockabilly, the country Rock of Bob Dylan, Buffalo Springfield and stuff like that, but the new country stuff is awful, in my opinion.

    Other then that I'm too old for Pearl Jam, Twisted Sister, Grunge, and whatever else is out there, so I have no opinion about them. I had to look up nu-metal and I only recognized one or two names.

    I can still remember "old people" telling me that the Beatles would only last for a year or two back in 1964, so I try to keep my mouth shut about any music that came after 1980.

    I can't think of any genre of music that has no redeeming qualities at all. If it's providing enjoyment and food for thought for someone, then it must have some qualities even if I personally don't like it.
