Since when did being anti-government = being anti-American

On a different forum I was flamed for saying that I'm 100% convinced the Boston bombings were a false flag operation that was orchistrated by the government to create a tragedy to push more constitution-violating agendas. I was accused of being anti-american for even thinking such corruption could occur such as the American government would kill their own people for corporate agendas, and I was unsympathetic to the victims of the tradgety.

Clearly the people were a bunch of GMO food eating, fluoridated water guzzling, jingoistic government supremacists. But how does speaking out against what the media is telling you, what the government is doing, and the current level of corruption in the united states become seen as unamerican?

 

People are sheep and are too stupid to open their eyes. If they do, They believe whatever bullshit they are fed or refuse to believe nobama is the worst piece of shit ever. They just want a quick answer, You seek the 'truth' of the matter. Somtimes at a cost and BS that follows.

 

This is it, and it's only going to get worse as we have more tragedies and disasters and Big Brother takes over..... our Freedom of Speech is being discouraged, next it'll be taken from us.
Furthermore, Big Brother is making it illegal to wake up and speak out against the machine.

 

Hope you find it comforting they are not the same indeed. People all over the world are anti-american without being anti-government by definition

Teabaggers and republicans have been trying to make it patriotic to be "anti-government" since Obama became POTUS. But they themselves ARE a part of the government. If they convince enough voters that the democrats are socialist commies, then they can become the majority. Then it will be unpatriotic to be anti-government again. Like when Shrub said, "I'm the decider". If you're not for the Iraq war, your anti-American.

Actually I'll play devil's advocat.

If you consider that it's governments that set the borders, the infrastruction, print the money, etc. Therefore the only thing that defines ' a nation' as being a nation is the government. Without government no one would give a toss about anything except friends, family and making babies.

So it's in that sense spot on being anti-government is anti-american.

Therefore the government can handle you hating them, telling them to get stuffed and even rising up against them. But if you just ignore the wankers, stop using their stuff and trade quietly amongst yourselves. They'll topple over in a week.

 

Point taken. I'll rephrase myself by saying I remain 100% convinced it was a false flag terror attack by a government entity UNLESS there is some solid undeniable evidence that shows otherwise.
