I have to agree with this. I am not into conspiracies etc, but this whole thing doesn't feel right at all.
He's putting plenty on paper. He 'says' that he and his brother got all their extremist indoctrination from the internet, along with detailed instructions for making bombs. Every department and every local office has at least one Barney Fife.
So we are told by media, but the truth is we will only ever know what the media/Government want us to, and half of that may not even be true.
THANK YOU!!! But when a person is brainwashed, they believe exactly what the corporate media tells them -- no questions asked. The system has effectively worked its magic on many people, so they could proclaim that Osama bin Laden has been brought back to life and shitting gold nuggets out of his ass, and people will probably believe it.
Really? They read how to dump black powder into a pot of nails on the internet? Yeah, we should probably pull the plug on that thing anyways, with the fucking music piracy terrorists and whatnot.... Go CISPA !atriot:
Exactly!! That is precisely the conclusion they would like people to reach. The internet is a dangerous and scary place, so the government needs to fully control it so evil doers can't hurt us.
No concern that the suspect might not be telling the truth? Oh yeah, I forgot that only government employees and reporters are capable of lying. I've heard that there's also goddamn godless porn on there! Shocking! :leaving:
Rather than just dismissing everything the 'media' and the 'government' puts out - bring some solid evidence for what you think transpired. It's so easy to be on the other side of the fence - because you seemingly don't have to bring any evidence to the table. How convenient.
It is ludicrous for anyone to believe that the government is ever going to tell everything it knows about any terrorist activity or operation. That would be complete stupidity on their part. You never let the enemy know what you know if at all possible.
Interesting development. The older brother was an Alex Jones fan, a conspiracy nut. http://www.salon.com/2013/04/23/tamerlan_tsarnaev_was_an_alex_jones_fan/
You are misunderstanding me. We only get to know what the suspect allegedly said through the media/Government.... You were not standing in the room when he said these things, we are only given limited information and never the full true state of affairs. I don't dismiss everything they state, I am trying to say we can only base a judgement on what we are told - we are not there to see/hear it for ourselves, and what we are told is carefully manipulated. This quote by Megan perhaps expresses my point:
What do you mean it is 'carefully manipulated'? I've heard just about every theory possible somewhere within the media, and various version of events from the same source. So, I agree we can only base it on what we are told - but I've just about heard it all, haven't you? We should have some idea about what we think by now.
A plethora of speculation but sketchy facts at this point. It's not like everything factual has been said and we can find out what happened by picking what sounds like the best speculation (eeny, meeny, miney, mo) CBS news interviewed a group of officer who were at the boat scene shooting. CBS has stated yesterday that Tsarnaev apparently didn't have a weapon. It looked like he had something in his hand when he started to exit the boat and a cop thought it was a weapon and fired a shot. Other officers thought the shot came from Tsarnaev and started firing. Earlier news reports had said that there was a fierce gun battle between Tsarnaev and police at the boat scene.
