Psychedelic Bump XXI

Seeing MGMT tonight with a few friends!

My one friend may bring a few hits of good ol' Lucy..which i'm not sure I'm going to indulge in or not yet. I will "feel" things out first before deciding. Though I am bringing my trusty flask w/ me and there will be lots of pot, so there is always that.. :sunny:

Bump for 120mg of 5-mapb last night. To me it felt like a really clean and long lasting MDMA roll. For my friend who took 140 it was more overtly psychedelic.

 

So the MXE experiment was a success.

I held it under my tongue for about 10 minutes without swallowing, after which the amount of saliva got obtrusive. A slight tingle was present, but it wasn't a flavour that stayed in the mouth like with NBOMe's.

About 15min into the experience I was already starting to get that dissocative come-up feeling, not too unlike the come-up of ketamine. 1 hour into the trip I had to lie down on my bed and listen to music.

I was really tired too, so I ended up passing out maybe two hours after dosing, but the half-sleep/half-MXE state was amazing! It's really nice and tranquil, and thoughts were flowing easily. I had one interesting CEV during that time, which unlike psychedelics was not geometric and patterned, rather just a bunch of shapes floating around which I thought was interesting.

As well as that looking in the mirror was interesting, as I was perceiving myself to be very jagged and chunky. I was wondering how that guy who drew self-portraits would have seen himself on MXE.

Anyway, all in all quite interesting. I'm excited to try it at a slightly higher dosage.

 

Sounds like a good expeience. MXE is the most interestingly strange compound I've ever dosed. I've never dosed it orally though.

 

I'm intrigued...

What's the duration? How is the relative potency to MDMA? Is the music enhancement good?

 

It was pretty great. I took it and went out to a show and it was light, but kept me going strong all night. It lasted a really long time. Probably a good 8 or 9 hours.

Well... That was different then expected.

I found it a lethargic trip, I was kind of bracing for something a bit more rapid paced. There were moments where waves of pleasure flowed throughout my body but it would be interchange with sharp tension. My head didn't really feel into it (some of which could've been set/setting) and I most notably got auditory hallucinations, sort of a nursery type tone at times.

Visuals were pretty sparse, I recall some peripheral images and the only vivid image being these connecting grids that reminded me of pvc pipe. I listened to some music, wasn't particularly captivated in any ways out of the ordinary, but it was enjoyable.

I was expecting perhaps more of the gusto of moxy or the depth of 4-aco-DMT but it seemed to lack any defining qualities. It was an abrupt trip too, I still got a slight afterglow going (which is probably my favorite part thus far) but the trip definitely eased up about 2 hours in.

I'm contemplating doubling the dose or trying VIA IM when I explore it again.

There's not much to expect really from 20 (i think that's what i did first time after an allergy test) and the other was 35 and ... eh.
Maybe it's something that shines at 50 and puts you to sleep at 25. Dunno.
Maybe soon trying moxi as a matter of fact, some cat turned me on to a bit

I was also let down by Iprocin when I tried it, definitely a dud compared to miprocin. have fun neuroptican i get to trip with lucy on monday, first time in around 6 months!

 

Iprocin gets more interesting at higher doses IMO. It never really gets visually intense, but I've taken up to 50mg. I find the mental depth and music enhancement gets pretty interesting at higher doses, but it's still very lethargic and strange.

 

Ok thanks for input, I think I'll give it a try at 50 mgs next time and try a different setting. I wasn't putting too much weight into the trip as I've read there seems to be a considerable variation in dose response.

Another reason I didn't put too much weight into the Iprocin trip, as I've been experiencing somewhat of an afterglow this whole week from that event.

What doses have you explore miprocin with? I don't remember how much I tried, but it wasn't interesting and I shoulda used much more.

4-AcO-DMT is coming for me soon! Looking forward to that. But in the meantime...
