I realise that the scrotum is the ballsack, but I mixed up scrotum and foreskin while writing the title as I was high.
In a number of African and Middle Eastern countries, uncut penises are regarded as primative and unhealthy. I don't agree with this, since I regard the style of penis you choose to have to be a matter of personal choice, but I have heard this view expressed, particularly by Muslims.
Well I cannot tell because I am a virgin but I prefer the look of cut. But I am content with my uncut penis
Most guys who get circumcised have a reduced risk of getting an infection or cancer of the penis. You also reduce the risk of getting sexually transmitted diseases, and helps keep the tip of your penis clean. So i would have to say cut because i dont want someone i love to have higher risks for all of those things.
Two recent studies in Africa have shown conclusively that cut penises have a substantially lesser risk of getting HIV than uncut ones, because the HIV virus can get trapped under the foreskin after it goes soft following intercourse, and enter the body that way. Also, a very recent New Zealand study proved that there is a 48% greater incidence of STDs in uncut penises. Of course, use of a condom at all times in intercourse will prevent these diseases, whether cut or uncut.
Whoever said that the circumcised penis was more sensitive has it the wrong way round. This may be the case at first, shortly after the circumcision itself, but definitely not afterwards. Any uncut male knows full well how sensitive his glans can be to the slightest touch - especially of anything of any rough texture without plenty of lubrication. This is because the foreskin keeps the glans moist, with all the nerve endings at the surface, whereas a circumcised penis dries out & the outer surface becomes leathery & desensitised as a natural self defence, otherwise the slightest touch against any underwear would be agony. Regarding Smegma, it's a commonly held belief that this is a substance created exclusively by the male. This is not the case. The vagina creates it as well.
I had to undergo a partial circumcision last year as a result of a cycling injury some years ago that had been building up scar tissue, and as a consequence making it more & more difficult to retract. However, during the surgery my surgeon commented on how the scarring had made it 'as thick as rhinoceros skin', which is why he opted for a partial circumcision. However, even though I still have half my foreskin & am now easily able to retract it, I still wish it had never been necessary in the first place. The sensations experienced with the foreskin fully intact, as Nature had intended, were far superior to how they are now. Don't ever be tempted to have it cut for reasons of peer pressure or trends. It's a procedure that can never be undone. Furthermore, in my opinion, to inflict it upon an infant, who has no choice in the matter, for no other reason than those of culture & religion is simply evil & barbaric. If, in later adult life, he chooses to undergo the procedure, then that's up to him.
New study supports male circumcision, since it cuts the risk of contracting HIV by at least half. "A new study offers support for the theory that removing the foreskindeprives troublesome bacteria of a place to live, leaving the immune system in much better shape to keep the human immunodeficiency virus at bay." LA Times, April 16, 2013. The bacteria inhabits the coronal sulcus, the shallow groove behind the coronal ridge of the glans. 5000 Ugandan males participated in the study from ages 15 to 49, with half circumcised, and the other half left uncut. There was an 81% reduction in bacteria in the circumcised men one year after the study, with bacteria on the coronal sulcus falling by more than 33% for them. This study seems pretty authoritative.
At work yesterday this subject was bought up by one of my female co workers & one of them hit me with the question - 'Are you circumcised'. I nearly choked on the cup of coffee I were drinking out of at the time. She got a reply, but I had to laugh at her perfect timing of asking me !
Really want to avoid the cut versus uncut debate... I'll just say that I prefer cut just because I'm more used to it because I'm cut so it looks more familiar. I think it's more aesthetically pleasing, too. I don't mind uncut and it can have it's own appeal.
Do you know of any types of ways that can be used to keep the foreskin pulled back for a few hours at a time, that I could try out to see what it feels like without damaging it? I have wanted to try this before numerous times, but haven't found a way of doin it yet. Any suggestions?? Have experienced using penis rings for pleasure plenty of times thou but not tried using them in that way for keeping foreskin pulled back for long periods at a time - just for a few minutes . I do have some rings that fit nicely just below my knob where the foreskin is attached.
Honestly, foreskins are bit of a mystery for me, but I thought you can just pull it back and it would stay there depending on it's tightness? I was thinking penis rings, too but they say on the package to not use it for more than 30 mins at a time because it can damage your penis. Maybe you can try one of those velcro ties or a twistie tie and wrap it around you with little pressure.
I mainly use stainless steel rings that I bought at my DIY store - they are cheaper than those in sextoy shops. I actually found them in the fastenings department - luck would have it lol. They come in packs of 2's but different sizes available as well. Some have inside diameters of 38mm - 41mm. Some are even smaller. At least they are long lasting lol
