people that have to pay what they do for the quality of weed that they get. About a month ago I bought a fifty after not smoking for a month and expected a pretty decent high but it only lasted an hour or so. Now my weed guy is back in businesses and so to not direct too much attention he always sells his gear under half price and doesn't smoke it himself. So I get 2 ounces for 300€ when it should be double that or more depending where I go but the difference is this stuff lasts 3-4 hours on me at the moment and I cannot but feel sorry for other people who smoke the stale stuff or even think that it is good.
Yeah weed prices really have gone through the roof over the years. I read in a book once that back in the 60's an OZ of weed would cost you a meager $15 bucks.
There's more than 50 years in between. Don't you think inflation has something to do with that. Almost everything did cost less back then. Another reason might be that most weed now is lots more potent than the weed back in the 60's. Stronger high = larger value. And last but not least, the business has probably changed a lot. Big bucks to be made attracts bigger players and yeah, when there are no rules criminal activity will only grow.
397.41 canadian wil get 2 ounces of high grade bud..indoor....thats the reguar price 140 per ounce of affy out door is what ipay now and yes...i'm old enough to have paid 15 an ounce....ive paid 160 dollars for a pound in 1975...regular price for a pound back then was 200-220
depends where you are. non medical marijuana states, most people pay $20 a gram for very good quality weed/ for lower maybe 10 a gram/ for me, very good mid grade weed, costs about 80-100 for an ounce and 300 for a quarter pound..
wow, here for lower quality people pay ~5$, usual price is 10$ and from ~15$ + start the good quality ones
I see what you are saying and I agree that our weed is probably lots more potent than what they had back in the day.
go to the source..become friends with a grower. if you become good friends youll always get hooked up...
$15.00 in 1960 had the same buying power as $117.14 in 2013. http://www.dollartimes.com/calculators/inflation.htm
