So, I'm new to this forum, but I am looking for some answers and was hoping someone here could help...so here it goes. Normally, I take 50-60 MGs of Methadone for pain, however, someone stole my prescription and I was left with no other option but to buy something from one of my neighbors. He happened to have Morphine; ABG 30s. My question is, how many of these Morphines should I take in comparison to my Methadone tolerance? I have no experience with these and don't feel like taking too many.
Yeah, 200mg of Morphine is about right. Methadone taken orally is 3-4 times as potent as Morphine taken orally, due to the low bioavailability of Morphine taken orally.
I would consider about 50mg methadone/dy roughly equivalent to a 20 of H, and in order to get well for 6-8 hrs, about the length of time those MSContins generally last, I know I'd have to take at least 2, if not 3, 30 mg morphs, amounting to something like 350mg/dy, a helluva lot of pillage, but required b/c our bodies lack the ability to assimilate morphine well, alot ggets wasted, or so I've read. Contrary to what alot of people try to tell you, they don't suck, they work, will get you damn high, but only if you take enuf millis, and it must be all @ once, not too far apart, or they won't saturate enuf endorphin receptors to put you in the right place, so to speak. Well, that was a mouthful, pardon the pun.
