    Anyone ever had them?

I get sleep paralysis all the time, and usually its during bad dreams where Im trying to wake myself up. However, the other night I was having sleep paralysis over and over again but it was during good dreams... once I realized I was paralyzed and that I was asleep, I told myself "Hey, this is cool. Don't wake up." I let myself sleep, and eventually I was able to explore this world I was in. I had previously been with others in this dream, but when I "woke up" they disappeared. I was in this big building type thing. It reminded me of Enders Game. I just kept exploring, I went down different hallways and just walked around. It was really cool, and then I woke up cause my roommate and her boyfriend were walking around and talking outside my door.

It was the first time I finally broke through.. I had been so close so many times but the sleep paralysis part always freaked me out so much.
    Hoping it happens again soon.

Anyone else had experiences like this?

I have been reading about and learning about lucid dreams for a long time. Since I found out what they are I have had two.

In the first one I was attempting to have a lucid dream as a fell asleep by staying conscious as I fell into sleep. The first thing that happened was the back of my eyelids became the town where I used to visit my boyfriends all the time. When I looked down at my hands I noticed that were over-sized and really wavy, that was a huge clue that I had began dreaming. I walked down the street to my boyfriends house and opened the front door. I went in and we started kissing. Then my eyes went totally black and I had the sensation of being underwater, like in the ocean or something. After that I guess I fell asleep and was no longer conscious because I do not remember anything else.

In the second one I was not purposely trying to have a lucid dream. I was dragging myself down a gravel road trying to get away from a monster of something. It looked similar to the dead end road I lived on until I was about ten years old. I was getting upset because I could not just run away from the monster then all of a sudden I realized that I was dreaming and that I could teleport. So I teleported myself away from the monster and ended up safely on the front porch of the house where I grew up. I do not remember anything else after that.

I think that children are more likely to have lucid dreams because when I talk to kids about them they really know what I am talking about and can tell me about their own. I think it might be because their brains are more flexible and their bodies have fewer pollutants in them because they are younger.

I also experience sleep paralysis often. I've often had it lead to lucid dreams as well. It can be difficult not to get freaked out during the sleep paralysis, but If I stay relaxed it can lead to lucid dreams. I've even woken up from and returned to the same dream a couple of times. I find it usually happens when I'm laying in a slightly uncomfortable position.
