Embrace militant nudism. Nudity has a profound effect on the human psyche. In short being naked and/or being exposed to nudity in a relaxed enviroment makes everyone more empathic and sypathetic. More empathtic and sympathetic to each other, to other creatures and the enviroment.
Extremly well. It used to freak out my neighbours but after a couple of weeks. Most don't think twice about coming over for a coffee. Some are even thinking about trying it.
I've been a militant nudist for a long, long time. Attitudes are changing oh-so-slowly, back and forth... Why wait? There's only so much stupidity and ignorance one can put up with from the non-believers, the stupid or the religious zealots before taking control. If ya don't like me naked, the door is behind you. :sunny:
Well yesterday was naked for a short distance outside weather. My neighbours all know I'm a nudist and I live in a really artsy area so they either accept me or tolerate me. (Well the big wooden privacy fence in my backyard helps things too. ) Anyway my one neighbour was taking down his winter windows and was up on a step ladder. I decided to run outside and to bring in my bird's cage. (It's less than 6 seconds from the door and grab the cage on the back porch) Well my neighbour saw me and blows me a kiss. I smile back at him and he yells at me "peace and love"
What if you don't live in an 'artsy' area but in a very conservative one. I can imagine there would be some more militant behaviour after one person practice militant nudism in the neighbourhood
to most of us, a militant nudist is just as annoying as a religious zealot be nude, i don't care, but don't shove it in my face (figuratively or literally)
Shoving anything in someone's face is legally defined as assault. We just want the right to be able to walk around town naked. We're not hurting anyone. If someone can't stop staring at my vagina then that's there problem not mine. And if they shove their face in it, then I'll call the cops and have them charged with assault.
Greetings, fellow happy naked people (yep, I'm still out here... :daisy I don't know, if we should call it "militant" to be nude wherever and whenever we can... I do believe, that it's actually beneficial for people to be naked - health-wise, when getting closer to Mama Nature, in social situtations with other nude people, increasing happiness and self-confidence. All these are reasons for my living naked at home and being skyclad outdoors, whenever I can (weather and location permitting). My spirituality is naked as well, since it centers around celebrating Mama Nature (She's naked, too, you know? Plants growing on Her skin are merely Her body hair ). Therefore, I go out and meditate, pray and hug trees in the nude. A wonderful feeling, BTW. Go out and try it! I am more of a gentle nude person. Of course, people can't help noticing my nudity, due to my namesake divine shape when I am sitting cross-legged/half-lotus style like a living Ganesha figure or lying outstretched on my blanket on the grass in my favourite park, happily soaking up the sun, breathing mild air, feeling the Earth beneath my body... If someone should be offended by that, and told it to me, I would at first try and tell that person, why I am nude and that it's a health and wellness thing, not something sexual (OK, sex is very much a health and wellness thing, too, but that would be a discussion for the Love & Sex sub-forum). And if that person isn't convinced, I'd cover up a part of me. At least until that person is out of sight... then I'd uncover again. I have it easier than other people, since I'm living in Germany, where nudity is more tolerated than in other countries. Nudism, here abbreviated FKK ("Freikörperkultur" - literally: free body culture), is quite mainstream and not seen as something outrageous. However, this mainstreaming also means, that nudists are creating their own reservations, such as camping sites, nudist club areas, specially reserved nude beaches, etc. - all fenced in or marked by warning signs. Here's where I agree with the OP: we need a more relaxed environment and more nudity in common places to make people understand that it's not some perversion or sex offence to be naturally naked. Enjoy happily nude spring days and have a nice nekkid May Day. Wiggling bare toes, NIFOC *), ~*Ganesha*~ *) Nude In Front Of the Computer - the state I am always in at home. Each and every of my posts here was made in the nude! :2thumbsup:
I'd never wear clothes again, except public nudity can get you arrested, and even make you a sex offender.... which is really stupid, seeing as the human body is natural, we all have one.
I completely agree it sets a mood of being free. I have a group of friends that my girl and I hang out with fairly often and whether is is drinking or maybe a trip night I always end up naked first because of how free and comfortable I am around them. I am a guy so it might seem strange to be the first one free but when I felt bad the first time the next day for maybe being TOO much :sunny: They let me know how much they enjoyed my energy and how it helped set the mood for everyone else to be comfortable and have fun. Needless to say I think we are a mini nudest party now, but their feedback made me feel accepted for who I am.:hippy:
