I'm sorry to hear of your loss, man--that sucks--I know how it feels to lose a pet--I lost my cat Shadow back in June last year--she was 19, and she died after having had a stroke--it still hurts after all these months--but I know that she's not suffering anymore, and I know neither is your dog! Who knows--maybe our pets are playing with each other at the Rainbow Bridge!

So sorry for your loss thatblindguy . Over the years,for similar reasons Ive had to do the same for my friends too. You never get over it,you just get used to it. All the Best mate.

 

Its so sad to hear your loss...But she will always be an important part of your life..

 

You did the right thing man, although it makes you think...if society were to collapse, and there was no euthanasia shots...would one have the sense of duty and heart to do what is best for their animal, and put them down ol yeller style?

 

In some ways the memory of a pet is more real than some people who come into your life .
