Has there been a particular film that has changed the way you look at life?...A movie that has triggered the way you think..a movie that has helped you out into moving you into this part of your life that you wouldn't have come across if it hadn't been shown to you this way?

Mine would have to be Garden State...this movie just reminded me of how stimulating living for the moment is, and how special the little things can be..

I remember when I was in middle school, I went to a very preppy, white school and it was cool to look down upon people of a different race. After watching American History X, I was shocked and I formed a group at school that taught tolerence and helped fight racism in the school. I left it a year later so I don't know if it had any real effect, but I think the fact I tried was good.

What Dreams May Come and Amélie really moved me and made me look at my life, oh and Nell also, I love those movies. They all remind me of how much we take life for granted and how simply we should live. Also, how random acts toward others really help change them for the better as well.

i gotta say garden state was pretty inspirational to me too. its all about finding your way in life. it really speaks to my age group, as this is what we are all going through.

fight club was pretty monumental in my thinking. all these things that i was floating around in my head were shown in the movie, and gave my thoughts something to relate with

Fight Club didnt really change the way i look at life... the only thing it did was just make every other movie like it look shit.
And Garden State had some good ideas and some very funy moments but they were overshadowed by the general tackiness of the rest. In the bit where he screams into the never ending abbys i thought i was going to piss myself laughing.
Now Ferris Buellers Day Off, theres a life changing movie. It taught me to not worry so much about the future because you'll only feel shite.... Unless you have a realy old near-death relative who u dont really like but is loaded and ur in the will.

    The Big Lebowski

That movie seriously changed my life so much. Not a day goes by that I dont make a reference to it, or use a quote from it. The movie just made me feel like the dude, like that its okay to take it easy, and just go bowling, I dont know if anyone else had that experience with the movie, but i certainly did.
