Books, blurays/dvds, guns and ammo, tools, and very slowly shop/welding/metal fabrication equipment.

I've got some scrap copper wire, and some stick welding rods too. Can't legally buy a gun:(...I stupidly caught a felony drug case when I was a teenager....I know where I can get guns from the streets, but you know what kinda people that involves dealing with, and I just don't have the money right now for real but I want a fully auto MAC-10...you can empty the clip so damn fast!

That's another thing I'm starting to collect, bar stock and steel scrap for welding. You might be able to get your rights restored, not sure how it is in MD though especially since they just passed some crazy gun laws. Where I live is gun friendly to say the least. My boss has a tax stamped full auto mac10 and a full auto AK47. Ammo costs too much right now to shoot those guns though, even reloads.

    Books-all sorts of

Its my leisure time to go to bookstores and search for good, reasonably priced books.

When I go, I end up spending around one and half to two hours there, and my wife gets angry.

    Its a usual scene

Yeah, MD, they're trying to take all the guns off the streets, mostly because of one city, Baltimore. Just this weekend a 1-year old baby boy got shot:eek:, and the next day there was an officer involved shooting in the 1100 block of Cross St, at like 3pm, walkby shooting, broad fuckin daylight, cops had to chase him, and had to do what they had to do, shot him multiple times trying to arrest him. There's shit like that every single day almost, and for the days there's not, there will be multiple shootings the next day. I heard on the news that they raided this couple and found a bunch of guns (AK-47s, AR-15s, shotguns, pistols), a bunch of grass (yea just grass this time), and bulletproof vests (what the fuck do you need a bulletproof vest for?).

That's just how baltimore is, gun control isn't gonna do shit to help that. I was at a gun show awhile back and this bigass dude with neck tats and shit was buying body armor. He got the ballistic plates like they use in iraq to go in it. I asked him if I could feel how heavy it is, picked up by the shoulders and that shit weighed probably 80-100lbs. It could come in handy, you never know.

I used to collect postcards from everywhere I went, I lost that binder somewhere along the way..
I used to collect books (hazard of being a Librarian) but I just couldn't store them all, so I got rid of every book I knew I could easily get in a Library and kept only my precious/antique books.
Now I get books on my Kindle.

Oh! Wait! I guess I do collect antique fairy tale books - I have several, but while it's not a large collection, I do buy them whenever I see them, so that counts right??

there's a difference between collecting, and hoarding.

I used to slightly hoard computer hardware, that's why it had to go.

I collect books too, especially old encyclopedias from the 70s on back. Your right they get hard to store and when you move they're a pain to pack and transport. These days I'm buying most of my books on Kindle as well.
