wassup y'all im the new guy from texas...I have questions about my second grow anybod

(im on day 10 y'all of my second outdoor grow last years got jacked...n e ways I was just wondering how soon I can start treatment for pest and how soon I can start fertalizing...I used triple 20 last year after plant was about 12 inches tall is this ok? I would like to start fertalizing as soon as possible I got started late AGAIN this year( plant did extremely well last year) and would like to push a lil more than last year and fertilize more .I stopped fertilizing about 3 or 4 weeks before I was supposed to harvest and 80 percent of trycomes where amber...also is it ok to treat for pest as a preventative thing or can I only treat as mites appear (had trouble with spider mites last year) treated with 7 as they appeared and only had to apply twice also open to tips and tricks....please any info would be greatly appreciated...thanks.....tex!
