I am fed up of not working and not being able to find any jobs. So i thought i'd move to Leeds which is in the UK. But i'm kinda scared because i won't have a job there either. So i'm stuck in a rut really. I only wanted to do a business course whilst working so i could support myself...life is so hard!

has anyone got any advice for me, please?

This is a site full of hippies. Nobody will sympathise with someone who is fed up of NOT having a job.

    Is school a possibility?

    Is self education viable?

Can you travel in any social circles to meet possible contacts, I think they call this networking. Such as church organizations, volunteer groups such as health care, fire departments, educational aides, political or union organizations.

Is the military or a Peace Corp type of organization possible?

just get a shit job to start out. employers are much more likely to hire someone who is already working.

have you tried temping / agency work?

it's usually easier to get than a permanent job, and once an agency likes you (i.e. you're reliable)
they're more likely to give you regular work.

    good luck in Leeds!

Yep, Employment in the UK (especially in t'North) is hard
I've been lucky to have been in my present job 25 year plus, But, "Always at Risk" :(
Your Choices seem be be - Voluntary, Part time, Bar work, Cleaning or Flyer work =It's not he most ideal, but I guess some work is looked upon better than No work for potential Employers
Wishing you the best - "Keep the Faith" - and remember = You're never alone on this Hip friendly site :)

Slightly curious, where are you at the moment? In the UK the job market generally gets more shitty the further north you go. London has the most jobs, but the highest cost of living (in some areas). I can sympathise, up until about 6 weeks ago I'd been jobless for about 2 years.. it really fucking sucks.
