How do so many posters manage to type with one hand?

Confession time. Although I am a journalist, and active in forums, I have never learned how to type "properly." I have a fast hunt and peck, but it is, and likely always will be, hunt and peck. I do use three fingers per hand. My shorthand is my own version, too. I have unimpeachable notes. No one can read them, including me a month or so later.

Voice recognition software doesn't like my combination of accents and slight stutter. I get very interesting things out of it.

And Mike, have you seen some of the spelling on these boards?
