Well...Ortus (and I find myself wanting to use Glen's fav name for you, Erectus ) it is very possible that her body could be already feeling the hormonal changes of pregnancy - which would be...sick, moody and hungry. You are right in that USUALLY when a person is sick they are not also hungry. so... :storkwithbaby: seems highly likely.

If pregnant, she didn't do so by herself, so, I wouldn't say you aren't to blame, but that it would be both of your responsibility...which it seems that you are ready to step up. :2thumbsup:

But, I will repeat that ultimately the decision to take the morning-after-pill was her's, and she chose not to.

Regardless of whether she winds up pregnant or not, you still should feel super inspired now to figure out what the heck you really want to do, and go after it.

For some reason, I can see you working at a Home Depot or Lowe's...there is LOTS of neat stuff a man could get into there, and especially for a young man, there is what you call "room for advancement" in one of those type stores. (You would totally have to pass a drug test there, as you will any "good" job.)

I'm thinking it is stress to be honest... Because she has been stressed out about this since it happened, plus now she's insanely stressed out about school too... So there is a very high chance thats its just stress. Thats why i'm not to worried about it

But yea I wouldn't necessarily consider that a huge deal as towards being pregnant, the only reason it worries me is because she's also been sick the past few days as well, who gets that hungry when sick? I know when i'm sick i don't want to eat anything...

you can get them in the grocery store generally, or go to a separate pharmacy, here we have CVS and walgreens.

9 months is not tons of time, get that out of your head right now. you need to be sticking money in a savings account NOW. and dont touch it. look into other ways to save, CDs or money-market accounts. i dont know if it makes a difference up north, but here credit unions tend to be better than banks.
babies are not cheap. you need her to be in a no-stress zone. preggo or not, you should be showing her, NOW, that you can make, and save them money. that you are dedicated and commited, and that you want her to focus on school, and being healthy.

it could be stress, and i wont discount that, but her symptoms are in the right time frame.

Ortus, you are the perfect everything to get a job at a place like that...young, fit, nice-looking (even though everybody says one's appearance isn't supposed to count, in reality it damn sure does!), and smart...well you'd NEVER have to interpret a dang poem there.

Edit: As usual, ML is right...as a woman that has been pregnant, the time frame does fit, and I personally began to want to eat everything in sight within just 2 weeks of pregnancy...everything else she said is right, too.

 

I have been pregnant. My first "symptom" was ravenous hunger. But I will say, morning sickness will curb the hunger.

oh really? that so? not in my experience. i craved a lot in between vomiting. and i had "morning" sickness all day and night for 5 months. i could have eaten a fucking house i was so hungry.

 

Does she know we all are very VERY (lol) interested in the outcome of this? lol

And you are right not to worry about it...it is what it is. You can use this "event" time and use it to inspire you to DO WHATEVER IT IS you really want to do, or at least go for something...ya know what I mean? :2thumbsup:

And about stress...I'm not saying it's not that...but stress usually makes a person sick and maybe moody. Its the hunger that keeps sticking with me.
In another life, I've been "stressed" about this exact kind of thing more than once (possibly being pregnant, which I was not)...and I was sick and moody - but not the slightest bit "more hungry", ever.
