lol... my EX-manager just texted me?

Asking why I didn't show up last night... I'm so confused, I made it very clear that I quit yesterday... Why does this always happen? Every time I quit a job they're always like "so... you aren't coming to work?.. or..?"

"why didn't you show up to work?"

"Because I don't have a job..."

 

I wish it would just rain.. Like have a day long rainy day. Where it pours.

Its humid and windy out a bit and it sprinkled a little bit but i want rain!

 

its been raining all day here, I'm smoking mango kush and teasing my dog

 

lot's of people 'quit' shitty jobs in a fit of rage and end up coming back because they need the job. happened a few times when i worked at mcdonalds years ago.

next time it is probably a good idea to give them a letter of resignation, so that you can at least use them as a reference when you try to get a new job.

 

I was thinking of doing that, but I probably wont ever end up using McDonalds on my resume anyways... After all I only worked there for 1-2 months, that doesn't look so good, especially when I have a few other jobs on there...

So since it wont even be on future resumes, and they're a bunch of assholes, I decided to just quit and not show up haha

I feel bad for my friend that got me the job though... She put in a good word for me and everything, ah well.. she hates the job too and is planning on quitting by the end of summer anyways, so i'm sure she wont even care

 

One of those days where everything hurts. Thankfully I still have some of that good bubble hash.

 

Finally the rain stopped

 

a job can be total shit, we all had them... but that does not matter, you there for one reason, money, to get what you need to survive. if you quit a job before you got new one lined up... man you setting yourself up for failure. Sooner or later you gonna be in real serious trouble. Everything catches up with us, and if you quit a job because 'you dont like it' too fucking bad man..

having a shit job should keep you motivated, to find something better, to better your life. if you quit everything you start, you wont ever accomplish anything... and you'll still be working dead end jobs your whole life..

True to an extent, the part about not quitting a job until you find another...

But, there is nothing to be accomplished at McDonalds, so quitting that really makes no difference... it's not like I could move up at all, what would I become? The manager? Thats just as bad if not worse, because that just means you devoted that much of your life towards... McDonalds... lol... I'm glad I quit, the whole atmosphere there was just pathetic and humiliating..

Working there was keeping me unmotivated, it was kind of depressing, now that I finally feel free, I am able to do what I want and that's what motivates me...

that does not matter, you are creating a mind state thats its ok to leave your work.

which to me means you have no work ethic and are very very irresponsible.

maybe your not.. i dont know man, just saying..

one day this quitting will bite ya hard. cause you will be jobless, broke, and unable to get another as quickly as you could before..

so freaking cold when the suns not out...i had to take off shorts and put on pants //
