    Hi there,

I have tried many, and my favorite is the maya wrap. It's the most comfortable and versatile. Sasha likes it best too, because it swaddles her like she was swaddled in the womb. Here's me with mine(in my gallery) and here's the link for the site also.

    Much Peace,

    Lena

I got a Maya wrap and after a while I ended up making my own pouch-style wrap instead. I got the pattern free somewhere on the internet (maybe google "baby sling pattern") I used the homemade one alot more than the maya and it was about $3.00 to make.

I used the Over the Shoulder Baby Holder. While I was in Guatemala I can't tell you how many natives came up to me to find out where they could get one. I've never used a Maya Wrap, but I think they are similar.

I used over the shoulder too because my LLL group sold them.
Loved it. went from that to a backpack.

Used the Mata and loved it, I am short and it was cinchable in a way most others aren't, then a very good friend started a wrap-making business and taught me some great ways to use a simple carrier that was basically a long strip of cloth. It was a wonderful idea and I plan to use one whenever baby number two comes along as baby is right up close and they really free your arms up even more than a sling. And unlike a backpack they don't add extra weight. Unfortunately though by th time she got going with her business ds was way too heavy for me to carry and living in a rural area I walked miles a day.
check out gypsymama.com. She has some cool ideas including a terry pouch for after bathtime.
