It is certainly a better, possible explanation than a divine being. Of course, perhaps men who created gods in the past and were visited by extraterrestrials thought the aliens were divine beings.

We will never know. We create mythical beings to praise. In all honesty we make assumptions but truly we have no idea. If the big bang theory is true then we are a species from germs. If god is real I'm screwed for questioning him. If we were created by aliens then what of them? How did they come to be let alone the universes? Are there alternate universes containing humans as well. Are we but an experiment gone haywire that was left alone after planting a seed of distrust amongst us? A question like this just puts more questions in the head

 

We are all just one big reality show for the rest of the universe to watch and laugh at.

Perhaps the movie Promethus is a documentary?

Our DNA suggests we are a whole lotta ape. We certainly have an 'invasive' colonization behavior that seems unique among mammals but other species such as ants are pretty prolific at that as well. Maybe somewhere along the way, ant behavior got sequenced in our DNA so we're actually part ants.

 

There seems to have been people from someplace else visiting this planet long ago and possibly having a hand in creating our civilization.

you could argue that any invasive species is trying to destroy nature, yet most (if not all) of such species are still natural.

i was reading this book here at the library, and it said the whole reason nasa was created wasnt to study space,,

it was to look for ancient alien civilizations and artifacts in our solar system. and ,, they have found them!!! look up moon anomolies, and mars anomolies. there is an alien base on the dark side of the moon ya know...
