Yeah has to be MDMA. If is was coke he would have told you, for whatever reason you might think he has.

It is true coke does make the gums go numb but most people dont put MDMA on their gums that I know of. It's a very bitter chemical and maybe it could cause some numbing if you left it sitting on your gums. If the high was longer then an hour, maybe 90 minutes max it would have to be MDMA.

You don't have to worry about addiction to MDMA in the same way a heroin addict does for example. It's more getting into a habit of doing it too often and eventually loosing the "magic" so to speak.

While you certainly don't have to worry about a vicious physical addiction (when not being sick is the daily goal) the psychological addiction (if you care to call it that) can be powerful and ruinous is some people (especially those predisposed to addiction or people with an organic chemical imbalance). I say all this being a firm advocate of pleasure, experimentation, better living and partying through chemicals and (naturally) do as I say not as I do. I'd certainly rather "kick" mdma than heroin, but I'd also rather have the brain of an opiate addict (retired or otherwise) than the neural scorched earth that can accompany mdma abuse -granted neither one is desirable. But if you a better person than I (not very difficult) I'm inclined to agree that over-doing it and losing the "magic" is likely worst case scenario. Just be cognizant of what losing "magic" implies on a neurochemical level: you have a tolerance and/or your brain is no longer manufacturing serotonin and dopamine in a regulated and healthy manner...pardon the tangent.
