    I think flowers make a person feel adored.

    I do like potted flowers, though; no sense killing some flowers over me; I'll plant them in the garden and enjoy them over and over.

    Texas gal, I think your button says it best. It's the gift that keeps on giving. ;) :p personally I love scented candles. They are decorative and smell fresh.

    One of the best birthday gifts I have ever gotten couldn't have cost more than $20/25. DH (eh fiancé at time) went out and bought me a bath set, and when I got home had our tub all ready and bubbly for me with a basket of all kinds of fun girly soaps and lotions and such. And afterwards he gave me amazing sex... lol. For me this tops jewelry and flowers.

    The best present would be a day to do nothing.
    You vaccum, you do the laundry, you do the ironing, you clean up the loo, you do the shopping and so on ......... BUT I EAT THE CHOCOLATES!
