A black, black day for Britain. Probably set us back another 70 years. I'm sure most of the non-British forumers won't have a clue what I am talking about. The ATP Finals is a great tournament, but I detest everything about the Wimbletwat Lawn Tennis Association and all its kind. That tartan twat isn't fit to clean the shit off Novak's shoes. So the HoorayHenry Lawn Tennis Assn has now produced as many champs as Croatia in the last 70 odd years. Wow, you must be really proud, you inbred, chinless Etonian monkeys. ( And about 1/24th of the times the Aussies have won it..) John McEnroe actually tried to bring British tennis into the 20th, let alone the 21st century. He gave up, as he viewed that as a complete bunch of cockmunchers.. You usually see a nobody win Wimbledon once every couple of decades. I suppose wait long enough, and a paraplegic might win it. Either way, I don't think these clowns should spend too long patting themselves on the back. Pricks.

Actually I think you'd have to be pretty bitter and twisted to support the actions of the people who run the British tennis associations.. BTW I've never had any interest in polaying tennis competitively, so I think my post is actually all about fair play for others, nothing about me. I have no feelings towards Murray personally, either positive or negative. I wish Novak slaughtered him because a)he's vastly more talented and b)Murray's win will be used for sinister propaganda purposes.. The overwhelming fact of the matter is that british tennis doesnt operate as a competitvesport. It operates as a toffs club, much like polo, various types of sailing/rowing and stuff like opera. The managers do everything they possibly can to dissuade and prevent working and even normal middle class kids from succeeding. That means setting up ridicuolous financial barriers, a cliquey ie croneyist system of development, every possible thing you could do, to retain its feel of an "Eton sports club". The result is that british tennis has become a laughing stock for the whole world. They'd rather have some talentless upper class prick like John Lloyd/Henman representing Britain than a dozen talented people from normal backgrounds. What was Murray? Well Scottish. Toffs always have this thing about Scottish, its like you can have a Scottish newsreader but not a cockney/scouse one. Pretty fucking childish, but there you are. Ofcourse the main reason Murray got ahead was that his mother was actually Scottish head tennis coach. Plus some special financial arrangements. So, so much for the new spirit of (cough) "meritocracy" in British grass roots tennis. And thats why McEnroe told em all to fuck off, after he tried to change it. Its abundantly clear that this win will all be used as a pretty sick propaganda stunt by a bunch of fops and hoorayhenrys. So anyone who isn't called Wupert or Sebastian must be a bit dim to celebrate it...
who'd have thought a tennis match ( as thts all it was) would lead to an argument about propoganda purposes and a class war? it is only a game after all....
i hate tennis, but on a day as boiling and drowsy as these last ones have been, sat in a pub with an ice cold cider, i could see it having a strange hypnotic appeal with the back and forth and that. couldn't give a fuck about who won though, didn't even follow the score, just the pretty colours
