Well, whatever makes you happy. :) Merry Christmas. :D You're making me wish I bought a Taylor NS32CE I was lusting for instead of a 12 string, this year. :p :(

yay! classic guitars are nice...i love their sound (when played properly)
I have one, a cheap model, but helped me learn to play...I have to change the string, one is about to pop at any minute *looks at it with sadness*

It's actually better to change them all at one time... then again, they're generally nylon string and nylon strings age like wine with time as opposed to steel... yet, it's better to change them all at one time for better sound... of course, I don't even always do that with my electrics or acoustics... I play so much, my strings are pretty much done for in three weeks because of the acidic properties of most sweat... then again, some people's are more basic and they can go for 3 months or so, but you'll still get the gunkyness if you don't use fast fret or at least clean them after playing.

Classicals great, I play a fender strat myself and a Dillion acoustic.
Hey Orsino2 i suggest wiping off your strings real well when your done theres no way they should only last two weeks, i play quite a bit myself and they usually last at least 2 months before the sound begins to deteriorate and even at that the sound is still decent. ;)

No... I said three weeks, and I've used everything, commonly just fast fret and cloth rags.

I play a Gibson Les Paul '60 Reissue, a '98 Fender Telecaster '52 Reissue, a Fender MIM Strat, a Guild JF30-12, and a Martin D-35. I've built a couple guitars, and done everything from building a guitar to restoring an 1890s Martin :p To tell you the truth... the best guitar I've ever owned was my uncle's '57 strat... I inherited it but then gave it up and sold it and bought a les paul. I could nail stevie ray vaughan's tone without Dumble amps ...

I've found the best strings to be from http://www.webstrings.com/ for cheap online strings. My personal favorite are Ernie Ball for electric and bass and Elixers or Pyramids for my acoustics... but my nanowebs flake quite a bit after a couple weeks of playing. I play eight or so hours a day... weekly average. Plus I'm homeschooled, so I have a lot of free time on my hands to do things... looks like I'll have three years or so of playing this much a day, then I'll have to find a "real job" that isn't centered around this... or maybe not, you know. :D :p I'm thinking of becoming a full-time tech/luthier or a sound engineer...

But, I've been experimenting and documenting... I've tried every single one of these amps out with strat reissues at various guitar shops.... Marshall JCM800 100w half stacks, 1964 blackface Fender Vibroverbs with 15" speakers, Marshall Major 200-watt heads... Super PAs and Lead with and 4x15s or 8x12s... never found a 1962 fender twin, but I've used others... and various blackfaces... I could never get the tone as close as I do with my Fender Cyber Twin and that '57 strat and it looked like it came out of a woodchipper... I can't ever find Dumble Steel Stringers as they're boutique and hard to find....
    errr... back to classical guitars...

I never really liked the customs... they're a bit brighter with the ebony fretboard... and a little on the bland side for what you pay.
